Abstract
【解決手段】 電極端子42が変形規制部材3を介して電極の集電部12に接合される。集電部12の上/下方にはラミネートシール2、2との間に空間15、15が形成される。変形規制部材3がシール部23を含む外装体の内壁周縁部に近接して配置されて変形規制部22が形成され、ラミネートフィルム2の内方への変形が規制される。変形規制部材3の先端から電池要素1に至る領域ではラミネートフィルム2が空間15に対向して、内圧の変化に応じてラミネートフィルム2の変形が可能である。内圧減少時、ラミネートフィルム2の収縮を変形許容部21に局在させることができ、シール部23の端部24に加わる曲げ応力を軽減することができる。

Description
例えば、本実施形態においては、変形規制部材3、3x、3A、3B、30を、シール部23のうち電極端子42が取り出される部分に備える場合について説明したが、本発明はこれに限定されるものではなく、内圧の上昇・減少に伴うラミネートフィルム2の膨張・収縮による曲げ応力が集中する部位に備えて有効であることは言うまでもない。
また、変形規制部材3A、3Bに、開口部31A、切欠き部31Bを備えて、変形許容部を形成する場合について説明したが、変形許容部を形成するに当たっては、必ずしも開口された領域は必要ではなく、変形規制部材に凹部を備えることによっても形成することができる。
また、変形規制部材3、3x、3A、3B、30、または/および開口部61を適宜に組み合わせて、複数の変形許容部21、21B、21Cによりラミネートフィルム2の変形箇所を局在化することも可能である。

Claims (10)
- ラミネートフィルムで構成され、端部のうち少なくとも一部が互いに貼着されてなる貼着部を備える外装体と、前記外装体に密閉収納されてなる電池要素とを備えるラミネート型二次電池において、
前記貼着部を含む前記外装体の内壁に近接して配置される変形規制部材により、前記外装体の膨張・収縮に伴う前記ラミネートフィルムの変形を規制する変形規制部と、
前記貼着部から離間して配置され、前記外装体の膨張・収縮に伴う前記ラミネートフィルムの変形を許容する変形許容部とを備えることを特徴とするラミネート型二次電池。 - 前記貼着部は、電極端子と前記ラミネートフィルムとが貼着されてなる電極貼着部を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のラミネート型二次電池。
- 前記電池要素の各電極を前記電極端子に接続する集電部を備え、
前記変形規制部は、前記電極貼着部から前記集電部の少なくとも一部を含んだ領域に形成されてなることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のラミネート型二次電池。 - 前記電池要素の各電極を前記電極端子に接続する集電部を備え、
前記変形許容部は、前記電池要素から前記集電部の少なくとも一部を含んだ領域に形成されてなることを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載のラミネート型二次電池。 - 前記変形規制部は、前記電極貼着部から前記集電部を経て前記電池要素に至る領域に形成され、
前記変形規制部材には開口部、切欠き部、または凹部のうち少なくとも何れか一つが備えられて、前記変形許容部が形成されてなることを特徴とする請求項3または4に記載のラミネート型二次電池。 - 前記変形規制部材は、電気絶縁性部材により構成されてなることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5の少なくとも何れか1項に記載のラミネート型二次電池。
- 前記変形規制部材は、樹脂部材にて構成されてなることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6の少なくとも何れか1項に記載のラミネート型二次電池。
- 前記変形規制部材と前記外装体の内壁との近接距離は、好ましくは、0mm乃至3mmであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7の少なくとも何れか1項に記載のラミネート型二次電池。
- 前記変形規制部材と前記外装体の内壁との近接距離は、更に好ましくは、0.01mm乃至1mmであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のラミネート型二次電池。
- 請求項1乃至9の少なくとも何れか1項に記載のラミネート型二次電池を積層してなる組電池において、
隣接する電池間に備えられ、前記変形許容部での前記ラミネートフィルムの変形が隣接電池間で干渉することのない緩衝空間を形成するスペーサを備えることを特徴とする組電池。
