Description
本出願は、2015年10月28日付韓国特許出願第10−2015−0149838号に基づいた優先権の利益を主張し、当該韓国特許出願の文献に開示されたすべての内容は本明細書の一部として組み含まれる。
図1を参照すると、パウチ型電池10は、二つの電極リード11、12が互いに対向して電池本体13の上端部と下端部にそれぞれ突出されている構造からなる。各端部で電極リード11、12の位置は互いに同一軸上に位置するだけでなく、電池本体13の中心に位置する。
正極と負極の間に分離膜が介されている構造の電極組立体が電池ケースに内装されている電池セルであって、
第1ケースおよび第2ケースからなり、前記第1ケースと第2ケースのうちの少なくとも一つに電極組立体の装着のための収納部が形成されており、前記収納部の密封のために収納部の外周部位に熱融着外周部が形成されている電池ケース;
前記電池ケースの外部にそれぞれ突出されている正極リードおよび負極リード;および
前記電池ケースに収納され、一側端部から突出されている電極タブが正極リードおよび負極リードに結合されている構造の電極組立体;
を含んでおり、
前記熱融着外周部のうちの一部には、その外周端部を囲む形態に密封強化テープが付着しており、電池セルの充放電時に収納部の内部で発生したガスが密封強化テープが付着していないベンティング誘導部の熱融着外周部を通じて収納部の外部に排出される構造で構成されている。
前記デバイスは、コンピュータ、携帯電話、ウェアラブル電子機器、パワーツール、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、プラグインハイブリッド電気自動車、電気二輪車、電気ゴルフカート、または電力貯蔵用システムなどから選択されるものであってもよい。
Claims (12)
- 正極と負極の間に分離膜が介されている構造の電極組立体が電池ケースに内装されている電池セルであって、
第1ケースおよび第2ケースからなり、前記第1ケースと第2ケースのうちの少なくとも一つに電極組立体の装着のための収納部が形成されており、前記収納部の密封のために収納部の外周部位に熱融着外周部が形成されている電池ケース;
前記電池ケースの外部にそれぞれ突出されている正極リードおよび負極リード;および前記電池ケースに収納され、一側端部から突出されている電極タブが正極リードおよび負極リードに結合されている構造の電極組立体;
を含んでおり、
前記熱融着外周部のうちの一部には、その外周端部を囲む形態に密封強化テープが付着しており、電池セルの充放電時に収納部の内部で発生したガスが、密封強化テープが付着していないベンティング誘導部の熱融着外周部を通じて収納部の外部に排出され、
前記電池ケースは、少なくとも一つの電極リードが形成されている部位に第1熱融着外周部が位置し、前記第1熱融着外周部の両側に第2熱融着外周部と第3熱融着外周部がそれぞれ位置し、前記第1熱融着外周部に対向して第4熱融着外周部が位置しており、
前記密封強化テープは、第2熱融着外周部および第3熱融着外周部にもそれぞれ付着しており、
前記第2熱融着外周部および第3熱融着外周部は、端部の一部部位が前記収納部に向かって折り曲げられており、前記密封強化テープは該折り曲げられた一部部位に沿って折れ曲がった形で付着しており、前記第2熱融着外周部および第3熱融着外周部は、その状態で、前記収納部の外面側にそれぞれ垂直に折り曲げられている、ことを特徴とする電池セル。 - 前記電池ケースは、樹脂層と金属層を含むラミネートシートのパウチ型ケースからなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 正極リードは、前記第1熱融着外周部から突出されており、負極リードは、前記第4熱融着外周部から突出されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- ベンティング誘導部は、第1熱融着外周部または第4熱融着外周部に位置することを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の電池セル。
- 前記密封強化テープは、第2熱融着外周部および第3熱融着外周部のうちの少なくとも一つで、ベンティング誘導部が形成されるように部分的に付着していることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の電池セル。
- 正極リードおよび負極リードは、前記第1熱融着外周部から共に突出されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- ベンティング誘導部は、第4熱融着外周部に位置することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記ベンティング誘導部は、第2熱融着外周部、第3熱融着外周部および第4熱融着外周部のうちの少なくとも一つで、ベンティング誘導部が形成されるように部分的に付着していることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の電池セル。
- 前記密封強化テープは、電気絶縁性素材からなるフィルムの一面に接着剤が塗布されている接着テープであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の電池セルを含むことを特徴とする電池パック。
- 請求項10に記載の電池パックを電源として含んでいることを特徴とするデバイス。
- 前記密封強化テープは、電極リードが位置する熱融着外周部にも付着しており、電極リード位置の熱融着外周部に付着する密封強化テープは、電極リードが通過するスリットが形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
