図1は本発明の一実施の形態に係る二次電池の完成状態を示す斜視図、図2は当該二次電池の主たる構成部材に分解した状態を示す分解斜視図である。図3は図1のIII-III線に沿う断面図である。図1及び図2に示すように、本例の二次電池1は、薄型扁平状の電池本体11と、スペーサ12と、これら電池本体とスペーサとを包含する範囲に形成された弾性樹脂部13と、を備える。

Claims (8)
- 外装部材の内部に発電要素が封入された電池本体と、
他の電池本体を積層した際に互いの前記電池本体の外周部の間に配置される板状部材と、
電池本体及び板状部材とに接合して電池本体と板状部材とを連結すると共に、前記板状部材の少なくとも一部を覆う弾性体とを備え、
前記板状部材は、前記板状部材を覆う弾性体の前記電池本体の厚み方向端面の一部から露出した露出部を有する
ことを特徴とする薄型電池。 - 請求項1記載の薄型電池において、
前記板状部材は、前記弾性体に覆われた部分から前記弾性体の外方に向けて突起した突起部を有し、
前記露出部は、前記突起部の先端により形成されている薄型電池。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の薄型電池において、
前記外装部材は、二枚のフィルム状部材の外周を重ね合わせ、前記重ね合わせた二枚のフィルム状部材の外周の全周を接合した接合部を形成することにより、内部に発電要素を封入し、
前記外周部は前記接合部の少なくとも一部である薄型電池。 - 請求項3に記載の薄型電池において、
前記フィルム状部材は、電池外表面側に樹脂層を含むラミネートフィルム製部材であり、
前記弾性体の硬度は、前記樹脂層の硬度より小さい薄型電池。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の薄型電池において、
前記弾性体の硬度は、前記板状部材の硬度より小さい薄型電池。 - 外装部材の内部に発電要素を封入し、電池本体を得る工程と、
前記電池本体の外周部に連結される板状部材を準備する準備工程と、
前記電池本体及び前記板状部材を、貫通孔を備えた成形型にセットして型締めする型締め工程と、
前記電池本体と前記板状部材とを、前記板状部材の電池本体の厚み方向の一部を露出させた状態で弾性体で一体的に成形する成形工程と、
前記電池本体、前記板状部材及び弾性体を前記成形型から離型する離型工程とを備え、
前記離型工程は、
前記弾性体から露出した前記板状部材の露出部を、前記貫通孔に挿入されたイジェクトピンで押す工程を含む薄型電池の製造方法。 - 請求項6記載の薄型電池の製造方法において、
前記離型工程は、前記弾性体が完全に硬化する前に、前記電池本体、前記板状部材及び弾性体を前記成形型から離型する工程を含む薄型電池の製造方法。 - 請求項6または7記載の薄型電池の製造方法において、
前記型締め工程は、前記板状部材を、前記電池本体の外周部に重畳させた状態で前記成形型にセットする工程を含み
前記成形工程は、前記電池本体と前記板状部材との重畳部を包含する範囲に、弾性樹脂を充填してインサート成形を行う工程を含む薄型電池の製造方法。
