Abstract
【解決手段】透明電極とバス電極との間に形成されるブラック層とブラックマトリックスとを同時に形成する。このとき、ブラック層とブラックマトリックスは一体に形成される。また、本発明はブラック層のブラックパウダーとして価格の安いでありながらも非導電性酸化物と使用することができる。特に、ブラック層とブラックマトリックスとが一体に形成される場合、バス電極を非放電領域へ移動させて輝度を向上させることができる。

Description
同図に示したように、プラズマディスプレイパネルは、画像がディスプレイされる表示面である前面基板10と、この前面基板10と対向する位置に配置される後面基板20とが一定の距離をおいて結合されている。
Claims (10)
- 前面基板と、この前面基板と一定の間隔をおいて配置される後面基板と、前記前面基板上に平行に配列される複数の維持電極と、前記後面基板上に前記維持電極に交差する方向に配列される複数のデータ電極と、前記前面基板及び後面基板の間に一定の間隔で配置され、放電セルを区画する複数の隔壁とを含むプラズマディスプレイパネルにおいて、
前記維持電極のそれぞれが、透明電極と、前記透明電極の上に配置されるバス電極とからなり、前記透明電極と前記バス電極との間及び前記前面基板の接したセルの間の境界領域にはブラック層が形成され、前記バス電極の一部が、前記透明電極上に形成されるブラック層の一部から前記前面基板の接したセルの間の境界領域に移動して形成されることを特徴とするプラズマディスプレイパネル。 - 前記バス電極の幅をLとする時、前記透明電極の終端部から前面基板の接したセルの間の境界領域に形成されるバス電極の幅が、1/8L〜5/8Lの範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記ブラック層は、前記前面基板の接したセルの間の境界領域を完全に覆うように形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記透明電極上に形成されたブラック層とブラック層上に形成されたバス電極の一側面が一致することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記前面基板の接したセルの間の境界領域に形成されるブラック層がブラックマトリックスであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記ブラック層及び前記ブラックマトリックスの一面がほぼ同一の高さで水平に形成されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記ブラック層が、コバルト(Co)系酸化物、クロム(Cr)系酸化物、マンガン(Mn)系酸化物、銅(Cu)系酸化物、鉄(Fe)系酸化物、カーボン(C)系酸化物のうちの少なくとも1つで構成されるブラックパウダーを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記ブラック層が、PbO−B2O3−Bi2O3、ZnO−SiO2−Al2O3、PbO−B2O3−CaO−SiO2のうちの少なくとも1つを含む450℃以上の高軟化点のフリットガラスを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記フリットガラスの含量が、5〜30重量%の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記ブラック層の厚さが、0.1〜5μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
