Abstract
【解決手段】 空気入りタイヤ2とホイールのリム1との間に形成される空洞部に、空気入りタイヤ2のビード部に沿ってリム1上に配置される一対の弾性リング5と、これら弾性リング5に跨がってタイヤ周方向に延在する環状シェル4とからなるランフラット中子3を挿入したタイヤホイール組立体において、ランフラット中子3の環状シェル4に吸音材6を設置する。

Description
試験すべきタイヤホイール組立体を排気量2000ccのFR車の駆動輪に装着し、そのタイヤ内圧を0kPaとし、時速90km/hで走行し、走行不能になるまでの走行距離を測定した。評価結果は、従来例を100とする指数にて示した。この指数値が大きいほどランフラット走行時の耐久性が優れていることを意味する。
試験すべきタイヤホイール組立体を排気量2000ccのFR車の4輪に装着し、そのタイヤ内圧を210kPaとし、時速60km/hで走行したときの空洞共鳴音の周波数における平均音圧レベルを測定した。評価結果は、従来例を基準とし、この基準値に対する差(dB)で示した。この差がマイナスである場合、基準値よりも空洞共鳴音が小さいことを意味する。

Claims (12)
- 空気入りタイヤとホイールのリムとの間に形成される空洞部に、前記空気入りタイヤのビード部に沿って前記リム上に配置される一対の弾性リングと、これら弾性リングに跨がってタイヤ周方向に延在する環状シェルとからなるランフラット中子を挿入したタイヤホイール組立体において、前記環状シェルに吸音材を設置したタイヤホイール組立体。
- 前記吸音材として、引き裂き強度が4.5N/cm以上であると共に200Hzにおける吸音率が5%以上である多孔質材を用いた請求項1に記載のタイヤホイール組立体。
- 前記環状シェルに前記吸音材を設置するために、前記吸音材が装着されたバンドを前記環状シェルに巻回して締め付けた請求項1又は請求項2に記載のタイヤホイール組立体。
- 前記吸音材に潤滑剤を染み込ませた請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のタイヤホイール組立体。
- 前記環状シェルに設置された吸音材をフィルムで覆って該吸音材の体積を減少させた状態にし、前記ランフラット中子を前記空気入りタイヤ内に収容した後で前記フィルムを取り去るようにした請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のタイヤホイール組立体。
- 前記吸音材の幅が前記ランフラット中子の幅の30%以上かつ前記空洞部の最大幅以下であり、前記吸音材のタイヤ径方向の厚さが10mm〜100mmである請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のタイヤホイール組立体。
- 空気入りタイヤとホイールのリムとの間に形成される空洞部に挿入されるランフラット中子において、前記空気入りタイヤのビード部に沿って前記リム上に配置される一対の弾性リングと、これら弾性リングに跨がってタイヤ周方向に延在する環状シェルとからなり、前記環状シェルに吸音材を設置したランフラット中子。
- 前記吸音材として、引き裂き強度が4.5N/cm以上であると共に200Hzにおける吸音率が5%以上である多孔質材を用いた請求項7に記載のランフラット中子。
- 前記環状シェルに前記吸音材を設置するために、前記吸音材が装着されたバンドを前記環状シェルに巻回して締め付けた請求項7又は請求項8に記載のランフラット中子。
- 前記吸音材に潤滑剤を染み込ませた請求項7〜9のいずれかに記載のランフラット中子。
- 前記環状シェルに設置された吸音材をフィルムで覆って該吸音材の体積を減少させた状態にした請求項7〜10のいずれかに記載のランフラット中子。
- 前記吸音材の幅がランフラット中子の幅の30%以上かつ前記空洞部の最大幅以下であり、前記吸音材のタイヤ径方向の厚さが10mm〜100mmである請求項7〜11のいずれかに記載のランフラット中子。
