Abstract
【解決手段】 マイクロ波周波数変換器に接続されたRF増幅器の電圧を自機マグネトロンの発振出力と同期させて、マグネトロンが発振している前後の時間だけ、RF増幅器に使用しているFETのゲートとドレインの各々の電圧を同時にOFFすることにより、FETの増幅機能を減衰機能に変換し、マイクロ波周波数変換器の変換損失を増加させることによって、マグネトロンから直接入力する過大な電力のRF信号と近距離にて反射してきた過大な電力のRF信号を減衰させて、マイクロ波周波数変換器が飽和するのを防ぐと共に、局部発信器の周波数が自機マグネトロンの発振周波数に干渉するのを防止する。

Claims (4)
- ゲインを増幅状態から減衰状態の範囲で任意の値に切り替えることが可能なRF増幅器と、該RF増幅器にゲイン制御電圧を印加するスイッチ回路20とを含み、前記スイッチ回路20は、送信部が発振している時間およびその前後の時間を含む期間のみRF増幅器のゲインを減衰状態にし、それ以外の期間では増幅状態にするように、前記RF増幅器に印加するゲイン制御電圧を制御することを特徴とするマイクロ波周波数変換器。
- 前記スイッチ回路20は、前記ゲイン制御電圧を連続的に変化させることで、RF増幅器のゲインを、増幅状態の所定のゲイン値から減衰状態の所定のゲイン値、または減衰状態の所定のゲイン値から増幅状態の所定のゲイン値に、連続的に切り替えることを特徴とする請求項1記載のマイクロ波周波数変換器。
- 前記スイッチ回路20は、前記ゲイン制御電圧を瞬時に変化させることで、RF増幅器のゲインを、増幅状態の所定のゲイン値から減衰状態の所定のゲイン値、または減衰状態の所定のゲイン値から増幅状態の所定のゲイン値に、瞬時に切り替えることを特徴とする請求項1記載のマイクロ波周波数変換器。
- 前記RF増幅器は、ゲートに負電圧、ドレインに正電圧を印加して動作するFET素子またはHEMT素子を用い、前記スイッチ回路20は、前記素子のゲートおよびドレインに印加されるゲート電圧とドレイン電圧を同時にON/OFFし、ONにしたときにはRF増幅器のゲインを減衰状態にし、OFFにしたときにはRF増幅器のゲインを増幅状態にするように切り替えることを特徴とする請求項3記載のマイクロ波周波数変換器。
