Abstract
【解決手段】 螺旋状に巻かれた線材の断面積が0.03〜0.8mm2からなり、径方向上下に重なる線材同士のピッチ角が相互に対称である第1層と、この第1層の径方向外側に存在し、第1層を形成する線材よりも細い線材を用いて、濾過粒度が第1層より細かく形成された第2層とを含んで構成されたガス発生器用フィルタとする。

Claims (14)
- 断面積が0.03〜0.8mm2の線材を螺旋状に巻いて形成され、径方向上下に重なる線材同士のピッチ角が相互に対称である第1層と、
この第1層の径方向外側に存在し、濾過粒度が第1層より細かく形成された第2層とを含んで構成されたエアバッグガス発生器用フィルタ。 - 前記第2層は、濾過粒度6〜400μmの濾材で形成されている請求項1記載のエアバッグガス発生器用フィルタ。
- 前記第2層は第1層を形成する線材よりも断面積が小さい線材を用いて形成されており、その径方向外側には、更に第2層の線材よりも断面積が大きい線材で形成された第3層が設けられている請求項1又は2記載のエアバッグガス発生器用フィルタ。
- 第3層は、径方向上下に重なる線材同士のピッチ角が相互に対称となる様に、線材を螺旋状に巻いて形成してなる請求項3記載のエアバッグガス発生器用フィルタ。
- 第1層及び第3層の少なくとも何れかは、焼結されて成形されている請求項3又は4記載のエアバッグガス発生器用フィルタ。
- 第1層は、径方向上下に重なる線材同士の交差角が、0°より大きく90°以下である請求項1〜5の何れか一項記載のエアバッグガス発生器用フィルタ。
- 第1層を構成し、螺旋状に巻かれて径方向上下に重なっている線材は、径方向上下に重なる部分が平坦に形成されている請求項1〜6の何れか一項記載のエアバッグガス発生器用フィルタ。
- 第2層は、円筒状に形成されるフィルタの軸方向端面から突出している請求項1〜7の何れか一項記載のエアバッグガス発生器用フィルタ。
- 第2層が、線径0.02mmから0.7mmの線材で形成されている請求項1〜8の何れか一項記載のエアバッグガス発生器用フィルタ。
- エアバッグガス発生器用フィルタは、燃焼温度が2000K以下の固形ガス発生剤の燃焼によって生じたガスを浄化するものである請求項1〜9の何れか一項記載のエアバッグガス発生器用フィルタ。
- 円筒状のエアバッグガス発生器用フィルタの製造方法であって、製造されるフィルタの軸方向に1往復以上、断面積が0.03〜0.8mm2の線材を螺旋状に巻いて第1層を形成し、この第1層の径方向外側に、濾過粒度が第1層より細かい第2層を形成することを含む、エアバッグガス発生器用フィルタの製造方法。
- 前記第2層は、濾過粒度6〜400μmの濾材で形成され、この第2層の径方向外側には、更に第2層の線材よりも断面積が大きい線材を用いて第3層を形成することを含む請求項11記載のエアバッグガス発生器用フィルタの製造方法。
- 第1層及び第3層の少なくとも何れかを、焼結して一体化させることを含む請求項12記載のエアバッグガス発生器用フィルタの製造方法。
- 車両衝突の際に乗員を拘束するエアバッグを膨張させる為のガスを生じさせるガス発生器であって、
ガス発生器の作動開始装置としての点火装置と、該点火装置によって着火されて燃焼し、エアバッグを膨張させるためのガスを発生させる固形ガス発生剤と、このガスを冷却するフィルタとを備えており、
当該フィルタが、請求項1〜10の何れか一項記載のエアバッグガス発生器用フィルタであるエアバッグ用ガス発生器。
