Abstract
【解決手段】 ドロップ光ファイバケーブル1は、光ファイバ心線2,3と、抗張力体4と、支持線5と、本体被覆6を備えている。抗張力体4は、補強繊維を熱硬化性樹脂で結着したFRP部を有するFRP製抗張力体から構成される。FRP製抗張力体は、FRP部分の残存スチレンモノマーが0.018重量%(FRP部対比)以下であることを要する。残存スチレンモノマーがこれらの量を超えると、ドロップ光ケーブル製造工程での本体被覆時に、溶融状の本体被覆熱可塑性樹脂と接触して、残存スチレンモノマーが揮発するなどして被覆部、または、本体被覆部が発泡するなどの異常を来す。残存スチレンモノマー量を所定の値以下に制御するには、高反応性熱硬化性樹脂,高反応性触媒の選択、硬化時間の確保、硬化後の後処理等により制御すれば良い。

Description
アースを取るには、工事に手間を要し、それに伴なう工事費の負担を要することとなって、各家庭への普及の障害となる。そこで、アース工事が不要となるノンメタリック製の抗張力体を採用したノンメタリック型のドロップ光ファイバケーブルが求められていた。
前記熱可塑性樹脂被覆層は、表面が整径加工されたものであって、当該被覆層の表面は、レーザー外径測定器による表面凹凸度を2〜3/100mm以下にすることができる。
前記FRP部は、補強繊維にガラスヤーンを用いることができる。
前記ドロップ光ファイバケーブル用FRP製抗張力体は、熱風式ギヤオーブンを用い、80℃で40時間乾燥後の重量減少率が、0.1%以下になるようにすることができる。

Claims (7)
- 補強繊維を熱硬化性樹脂で結着したFRP部を有するドロップ光ファイバケーブル用FRP製抗張力体において、
前記FRP部の残存スチレンモノマー量を、0.018重量%以下にしたことを特徴とするドロップ光ファイバケーブル用FRP製抗張力体。 - 補強繊維を熱硬化性樹脂で結着したFRP部と、
前記FRP部の外周に、前記FRP部の外表面とアンカー接着構造で被覆形成された熱可塑性樹脂被覆層とを有するドロップ光ファイバケーブル用FRP製抗張力体において、
前記FRP部の残存スチレンモノマー量を、0.03重量%以下にしたことを特徴とするドロップ光ファイバケーブル用FRP製抗張力体。 - 前記熱硬化性樹脂は、ビニルエステル樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のドロップ光ファイバケーブル用FRP製抗張力体。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂被覆層は、表面が整径加工されたものであって、当該被覆層の表面は、レーザー外径測定器による表面凹凸度を2〜3/100mm以下にしたことを特徴とする請求項2又は3記載のドロップ光ファイバケーブル用FRP製抗張力体。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂被覆層は、LLDPEであることを特徴とする請求項4記載のドロップ光ファイバケーブル用FRP製抗張力体。
- 前記FRP部は、補強繊維にガラスヤーンを用いることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5記載のドロップ光ファイバケーブル用FRP製抗張力体。
- 請求項2ないし6記載のドロップ光ファイバケーブル用FRP製抗張力体は、熱風式ギヤオーブンを用い、80℃で40時間乾燥後の重量減少率が、0.1%以下になるようにしたことを特徴とするドロップ光ファイバケーブル用FRP製抗張力体。
