Abstract
【解決手段】 繊維強化材からなるプリフォーム部材30を鋳込むことによって、各ピンボス部15に対応した一対のクラウン補強部21をクラウン部2上に形成するとともに、一対のクラウン補強部21を連結部22でピストンピン軸O方向に沿って連結する。クラウン補強部21によってピストン強度の向上を図るとともに、連結部22で一体に連結されたクラウン補強部21をピストンピン軸O方向に沿う剛性部材として機能させ、クラウン部2の熱変形による歪みを抑制する。

Claims (5)
- 一対のピンボス部の上方でクラウン部に配設される一対のクラウン補強部と、
上記クラウン補強部をピストンピン軸方向に沿って連結する連結部とを、繊維強化材からなるプリフォーム部材をピストン母材に鋳込んで形成したことを特徴とする内燃機関のピストン。 - 上記プリフォーム部材は、上記ピンボス部を補強するボス補強部を上記クラウン補強部と一体形成することを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関のピストン。
- 上記連結部は、上記クラウン部で上記ピストンピン軸に直交する方向の幅が上記クラウン補強部の幅よりも小さく設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2記載の内燃機関のピストン。
- 上記連結部は、上記クラウン部で上記ピストンピン軸に直交する方向の幅が上記クラウン補強部の幅と等しく設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2記載の内燃機関のピストン。
- 上記連結部は、上記クラウン部で上記ピストンピン軸に直交する方向の幅が上記クラウン補強部の幅よりも大きく設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2記載の内燃機関のピストン。
