Abstract
【解決手段】 5つの半導体発光素子22A、22B、22C、22D、22Eからの光をリフレクタ24によって灯具前方へ反射させる構成とする。その際、リフレクタ24の反射面24aを、水平方向に延びる焦線FLを有する放物柱状曲面で構成する。5つの半導体発光素子22A、22B、22C、22D、22Eは焦線FL上に所定間隔をおいて配置し、その出射光の向きを焦線FL方向に関して各半導体発光素子毎に異なる向きに設定する。これにより、各半導体発光素子22A、22B、22C、22D、22Eからの光を、上下方向には拡散させずに水平方向にのみ拡散させて、5つの横長配光パターンを互いに水平方向にずれた位置に形成する。

Description
複数の半導体発光素子からの光をリフレクタによって灯具前方へ反射させるように構成された車両用灯具において、
上記リフレクタの反射面が、水平方向に延びる焦線を有する放物柱状曲面で構成されており、
上記複数の半導体発光素子が、上記焦線上に所定間隔をおいて配置されるとともに、これら半導体発光素子のうち少なくとも1つの半導体発光素子からの出射光の向きが、上記焦線方向に関して他の半導体発光素子とは異なる向きに設定されている、ことを特徴とするものである。

Claims (5)
- 複数の半導体発光素子からの光をリフレクタによって灯具前方へ反射させるように構成された車両用灯具において、
上記リフレクタの反射面が、水平方向に延びる焦線を有する放物柱状曲面で構成されており、
上記複数の半導体発光素子が、上記焦線上に所定間隔をおいて配置されるとともに、これら半導体発光素子のうち少なくとも1つの半導体発光素子からの出射光の向きが、上記焦線方向に関して他の半導体発光素子とは異なる向きに設定されている、ことを特徴とする車両用灯具。 - 上記各半導体発光素子が、発光チップとこの発光チップを封止する封止樹脂とを備えてなり、
上記少なくとも1つの半導体発光素子と上記他の半導体発光素子とで、上記封止樹脂の封止形状が異なった形状に設定されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用灯具。 - 上記各半導体発光素子からの出射光の向きが、上記焦線方向一端部に位置する半導体発光素子から上記焦線方向他端部に位置する半導体発光素子にかけて徐々に変化するように設定されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の車両用灯具。
- 上記焦線方向一端部に位置する半導体発光素子からの出射光の向きが、上記焦線方向と略直交する向きに設定されるとともに、上記焦線方向他端部に位置する半導体発光素子からの出射光の向きが、上記焦線方向一端部寄りの向きに設定されている、ことを特徴とする請求項3記載の車両用灯具。
- 上記複数の半導体発光素子のうち一部の半導体発光素子のみが選択的に点灯し得るように構成されている、ことを特徴とする1〜4いずれか記載の車両用灯具。
