- 【請求項1】 少なくとも2枚の重ねられたプラスチック材料製シート(1,
2)を溶接し、所定の経路(F) に沿って連続的に走行させる超音波溶接装置(100)
であって、装置(100) は、互いに向かい合わせに配置されたソノトロード(101)
とアンビル(102) とを備え、それらの向かい合った表面(101', 102')が貫通間隙
(103) を形成し、この間隙の中を、溶接される2枚の重ねられたシート(1, 2)が
通過し、該間隙(103) は入口部(104) および出口部(105) を有し、ソノトロード

に互いに近づいて収束することを特徴とする超音波溶接装置。 - 【請求項2】 ソノトロード(101) とアンビル(102) との間に形成された貫
通間隙(103) の入口部(104) が、該間隙(103) の出口部(105) より 1.2〜2倍の
範囲内の倍率で大きくなっていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の溶接装置。 - 【請求項3】 貫通間隙(103) の入口部(104) の幅が、溶接される重ねられ
たシート(1, 2)の厚さよりわずかに大きいことを特徴とする、請求項1または2
記載の溶接装置。 - 【請求項4】 所定の速度で走行している、溶接される重ねられたシートに
対し、ソノトロード(101) とアンビル(102) との間に形成された貫通間隙(103)
が、振動しているソノトロード(101) およびアンビル(102) と前記シート(1, 2)
との接触時間が、一定の溶接幅にわたってシートの漏れ止め溶接を得るように選
択されるように、前記所定の速度の関数として決定される長さ(L) を与えること
を特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の溶接装置。 - 【請求項5】 約62.5メートル/分 (m/min)の一定速度について、貫通間隙
の長さ(L) が、約72 ms の接触時間および1mm幅の溶接線に対して約75 mm に等
しいことを特徴とする、請求項4記載の溶接装置。 - 【請求項6】 ソノトロード(101) に向かい合っているアンビル(102) の表
面(102')が、その間に鈍角を形成している2つの傾斜フラット部(102a, 102b)に
より形成された、とがった輪郭を与えることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいず
れか1項に記載の溶接装置。 - 【請求項7】 アンビル(102) のとがった輪郭の表面の2つの傾斜フラット
部(102a, 102b)が約 140°の角度を形成していることを特徴とする、請求項6記
載の溶接装置。 - 【請求項8】 アンビル(102) の傾斜フラット部(102a, 102b)のそれぞれが
、ソノトロード(101) の向かい合う面に対して約20°の角度αを形成することを
特徴とする、請求項6または7記載の溶接装置。 - 【請求項9】 溶接されるシート(1, 2)に対して 0.2×105 Pa〜 6×105 Pa
の範囲内の所定の圧力を加えるように、アクチュエータ(107) またはカウンター
ウェイトが、ソノトロード(101) に併設されていることを特徴とする、請求項1
〜8のいずれか1項に記載の溶接装置。 - 【請求項10】 ソノトロード(101) が約20〜40 kHzの範囲内の振動数およ
び10〜100 μmの範囲内、好ましくは約70μmに等しい振幅で振動することを特
徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の溶接装置。 - 【請求項11】 溶接されるシート走行速度が50〜150 m/min の範囲内、好
ましくは60〜80 m/minの範囲内であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜10のいずれ
か1項に記載の溶接装置。 - 【請求項12】 軟質パッケージ、とりわけ特に充填と封止が済んだ後で保
存処置が施されるパッケージを封止する方法であって、各パッケージは、左右の
側縁部で互いにつながっている2つの側面部を有し、各側面部はプラスチック材
料製の内面および外面と、この内面と外面との間に挟まれた軽金属製の中心層と
を有し、本方法は、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の溶接装置を用いて、各
パッケージが所定の速度で走行する間に、各パッケージの2つの側面部の内面の
超音波溶接を、少なくとも各パッケージの幅の半分以上に達する溶接線に沿って
行うことを特徴とする、軟質パッケージの封止方法。 - 【請求項13】 溶接線が各パッケージの全幅に達するように形成されるこ
とを特徴とする、請求項12記載の方法。 - 【請求項14】 各パッケージにおいて溶接線を形成する際に、切断線も同
時に形成されることを特徴とする、請求項12または13記載の方法。 - 【請求項15】 各パッケージを超音波溶接により封止する前に、各パッケ
ージの該側面部を、各パッケージの側面部の内面が軟化するように加熱すること
を特徴とする、請求項12〜14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 【請求項16】 前記走行中の各パッケージを、前記パッケージの走行経路
上で第一の溶接装置より下流に配置された請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の
別の溶接装置を用いて、同じ1本の溶接線に沿って溶接するか、または第一の溶
接線の下側に位置する別の溶接線に沿って溶接することを特徴とする、請求項12
〜15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 【請求項17】 パッケージが、20〜150 m/min の範囲内、好ましくは60〜
80 m/minの範囲内の一定の走行速度で次々に走行する、請求項12〜16のいずれか
1項に記載の方法。 - 【請求項18】 各パッケージの各側面部の中心層がアルミニウム製である
ことを特徴とする、請求項12〜17のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 【請求項19】 各パッケージの各側面部の内面がポリプロピレンの層を有
することを特徴とする、請求項12〜18のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 【請求項20】 各パッケージの各側面部の内面がポリアミドの層とポリプ
ロピレンの層とを有することを特徴とする、請求項12〜19のいずれか1項に記載
の方法。 - 【請求項21】 各パッケージの各側面部の外面がポリエチレンテレフタレ
ートの層を含むことを特徴とする請求項12〜20のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 【請求項22】 各パッケージの各側面部の外面がさらにポリアミド層を含
むことを特徴とする、請求項21記載の方法。 - 【請求項23】 軟質パッケージ、とりわけ、保存処置が特に充填と封止が
済んだ後で施されるパッケージであって、該パッケージは、左右の側縁部で互い
につながっている2つの側面部を有し、各側面部はプラスチック材料製の内面お
よび外面と、この内面と外面との間に挟まれた軽金属製の中心層とを有し、該パ
ッケージは請求項12〜22のいずれか1項に記載の方法に従って封止されているこ
とを特徴とする軟質パッケージ。
