Description

密封包裝體之製造方法及密封包裝體製造裝置
本發明係關於一種密封包裝體及其製造方法與製造裝置。
作為收容火腿、香腸、乳酪、羊羹及米粉糕等之密封包裝體,眾所周知的是使用有合成樹脂膜者。該密封包裝體係以如下方法製造成,即以自動填充包裝機(例如旭化成化學股份公司製造之「ADP(登錄商標)」),一面使帶狀之合成樹脂膜移動,一面以使兩側緣部交叉並重合之方式捲曲為筒狀,密封其重合部而成形為筒狀膜,於該筒狀膜內填充內容物後,結紮(密封)上端及下端。
製造之密封包裝體亦存在接受高溫蒸煮處理等加熱處理之情況。此時,若密封部之氣密性不充分,則亦存在密封包裝體無法承受由加熱引起之內容物之膨脹而破袋(高溫蒸煮破裂(retort puncture))之情況。又,自提高保存性之觀點而言密封部之氣密性亦為重要之要素。
作為結紮筒狀膜之兩端部之方法,已知有使用金屬線材(例如鋁)或合成樹脂帶之方法。於下述專利文獻1~3中揭示有使用包含合成樹脂(例如偏二氯乙烯或烯烴系樹脂)之帶密封筒狀膜之兩端之方法。更具體而言,於專利文獻1中,記載有如下之方法:於擠走筒狀膜內之內容物而形成之未使用部在與筒狀膜之長度方向交叉之方向重疊帶,一面將該帶熔接於筒狀膜上,一面進行橫穿未使用部之密 封。
於專利文獻2中,記載有如下之密封方法:將擠走筒狀膜內之內容物而形成之未使用部於橫穿扁平面之方向集束,並以包圍集束之未使用部之方式重疊帶,將重疊有該帶之未使用部之橫向方向與該帶一併密封(第1密封),又,於與第1密封交叉之方向上密封上述帶(第2密封),於相對於第2密封夾持集束之未使用部之相反側且與第1密封交叉之方向上密封上述帶(第3密封)。
於專利文獻3中,記載有如下之密封方法,將擠走筒狀膜內之內容物而形成之未使用部於橫穿扁平之面之方向上集束,並以夾持集束之未使用部之方式重疊2片帶,與該2片帶一併將重疊有上述帶之上述未使用部於橫向方向密封(第1密封),將上述2片帶於與上述第1密封交叉之方向上密封(第2密封),將上述2片帶於相對於上述第2密封夾持上述集束之未使用部之相反側上在與上述第1密封交叉之方向上密封(第3密封)。

然而,根據上述方法,存在為了密封集束之未使用部與 帶並一體化而施加之熱傳遞至位於集束部位附近之密封包裝體之肩口之情況。施加之熱係可使帶與樹脂膜一體化之程度之高熱。因此,有時因傳遞至密封包裝體之肩口之熱引起該部位之樹脂膜熔解,從而出現產生針孔等不良情況。
又,根據專利文獻2、3中記載之方法,對於重疊於集束之未使用部之帶需要進行複數次密封。此導致步驟之增加、複雜化而難以提高密封包裝體之生產速度。
本發明係鑒於上述問題而完成者,其目的在於提供一種製造過程之加熱引起之損傷足夠少之具有優異之氣密性之密封包裝體。又,本發明之目的在於提供一種可充分有效率地製造上述密封包裝體之製造方法與製造裝置。
本發明之密封包裝體包含:第1密封部,其係彎曲帶狀合成樹脂膜使該膜之兩側緣部重合而成為筒狀,並於該膜之長度方向熔接該重合部而構成收容內容物之筒狀膜所成;第2密封部,其係遍佈筒狀膜之寬度方向之全長使該筒狀膜之內表面彼此熔接而成,且形成於筒狀膜之兩端部;及結紮構件,其分別形成於筒狀膜之兩端部且於集束該兩端部之狀態下結紮。
上述密封包裝體不僅可獲得藉由結紮構件而實現之密封效果,亦可獲得藉由遍佈筒狀膜之寬度方向之全長所設置之第2密封部而實現之密封效果。因此,上述密封包裝體較先前具有優異之氣密性,且可降低密封包裝體內外導 通、自密封包裝體漏氣、向密封包裝體滲液之風險。
於本發明中,較佳為相對於自密封包裝體之結紮構件外側遍佈至筒狀膜端部之耳部之總面積之上述第2密封部的面積比率超過5%。藉此,可獲得充分之氣密性。
第2密封部之寬度為0.1~6.0 mm之情況自集束第2密封部附近之觀點而言較佳。
第2密封部遍佈筒狀膜之寬度方向之全長包含至少1根連續之密封線之情況自有效率之熔接與氣密性之雙方之觀點而言較佳。又,密封線之寬度較佳為0.1 mm~2.0 mm。
又,第2密封部係將筒狀膜之內表面彼此呈網眼狀熔接而成者,自有效率之熔接與氣密性之雙方之觀點而言較佳。
於本發明之構成中,由於無需於成為密封包裝體之肩口之部位附近施加熱,因此熱到達該部位之情況較少,其結果能抑制密封包裝體肩口產生針孔。又,由於第2密封部能以1次加熱處理形成,因此對於生產速度之影響較少。
於本發明中,較佳為第2密封部係藉由超音波密封而形成者。藉由超音波而形成之密封可對所期望之部位以針點進行密封,向被處理部周邊之熱之洩漏較少。因此,可進一步降低於密封包裝體肩口產生針孔。
於本發明中,亦可將合成樹脂線材用作結紮構件。於該情形時,可設為使合成樹脂線材之端部彼此熔接而成為環狀。藉由採用包含合成樹脂線材之結紮構件,於開封密封包裝體消費內容物之後廢棄包裝時,省去針對每種原材料 進行分類之工時。又,由於未使用金屬構件,因此於製品檢查中可進行金屬探查,從而可檢查密封包裝體中是否混入有金屬製異物。
本發明提供上述密封包裝體之製造方法。即,本發明之密封包裝體之製造方法包含:重合部形成步驟,使帶狀合成樹脂膜彎曲而形成該膜之兩側緣部重合之筒狀體;第1熔接步驟,於該膜之長度方向熔接筒狀體之重合部而形成第1密封部,從而獲得筒狀膜成形體;填充步驟,向筒狀膜成形體內填充內容物;束紮步驟,於筒狀膜成形體上隔開特定間隔而連續地形成自外側對填充有內容物之筒狀膜成形體施加力並擠走內容物而得之扁平部;第2熔接步驟,對扁平部施加熱,遍佈筒狀膜成形體之寬度方向全長使該筒狀膜成形體之內表面彼此熔接而形成第2密封部;及結紮步驟,於第2密封部或其附近集束筒狀膜成形體而形成集束部並且結紮集束部。
根據上述方法,兩端部分別藉由第2密封部及結紮構件密封,可有效率地製造具有優異之氣密性之密封包裝體。又,由於無需於成為密封包裝體之肩口之部位附近施加熱,因此熱到達該部位之情況較少,其結果能抑制密封包裝體之肩口產生針孔。又,由於第2密封部能以1次加熱處理形成,因此對於生產速度之影響較少,可與先前之製造方法同樣地有效率地製造。
本發明係提供上述密封包裝體之製造裝置。即,本發明之密封包裝體之製造裝置包含:重合部形成機構,其使帶 狀合成樹脂膜彎曲而形成該膜之兩側緣部重合之筒狀體;第1熔接機構,其熔接筒狀體之重合部而形成第1密封部,從而獲得筒狀膜成形體;填充機構,其向筒狀膜成形體內填充內容物;束紮機構,其於筒狀膜成形體上隔開特定間隔而連續地形成自外側對填充有內容物之筒狀膜成形體施加力並擠走內容物而得之扁平部;第2熔接機構,其對扁平部施加熱,遍佈筒狀膜成形體之寬度方向全長使該筒狀膜成形體之內表面彼此熔接而形成第2密封部;及結紮機構,其於第2密封部或其附近集束筒狀膜成形體而形成集束部並且結紮集束部。
根據上述裝置,兩端部分別藉由第2密封部及結紮構件密封,可有效率地製造具有優異之氣密性之密封包裝體。又,由於無需於成為密封包裝體之肩口之部位附近施加熱,因此熱到達該部位之情況較少,其結果能抑制密封包裝體之肩口產生針孔。又,由於第2密封部能以1次加熱處理形成,因此對於生產速度之影響較少,可與先前之製造方法同樣地有效率地製造。
根據本發明,提供一種製造過程之加熱引起之損傷足夠少之具有優異之氣密性之密封包裝體。又,根據本發明,提供一種可充分有效率地製造上述密封包裝體之製造方法與製造裝置。

於圖1中表示本發明之密封包裝體之一實施形態。圖1(b)係(a)之Ib-Ib剖面圖。圖1(a)所示之密封包裝體1包含:縱密封部(第1密封部)4,其係彎曲帶狀之合成樹脂膜使該膜之兩側緣部重合而成為筒狀,並於該膜之長度方向上熔接重合部3而構成筒狀膜2所成;橫密封部(第2密封部)6,其形成於筒狀膜2之兩端部;及結紮構件8,其分別形成於筒狀膜2之兩端部並於集束該兩端部之狀態下結紮。
再者,圖1(a)所示之密封包裝體1係以筒狀膜2之兩端部已藉由結紮構件8結紮,橫密封部6之寬度看上去窄於筒狀膜2之寬度之方式圖示。然而,如圖3所示,設置結紮構件8之前之橫密封部6係遍佈筒狀膜2之寬度方向之全長而形成。縱密封部4係藉由熔接而使合成樹脂膜之外表面與內表面接合所成,與此相對,橫密封部6係藉由熔接而使筒狀膜2之內表面彼此接合所成。
成為筒狀膜2之合成樹脂膜只要為熱可塑性樹脂則無特別限定,可列舉包含例如VDC/VC(Vinylidene Chloride/Vinyl Chloride,偏二氯乙烯/氯乙烯共聚物)、VDC/MA(Vinylidene Chloride/Methyl Acrylate,偏二氯乙烯/丙烯酸甲酯共聚物)、HIPS(High Impact Polystyrene,耐衝擊性聚苯乙烯)、PVDC(Polyvinylidene Chloride,聚偏二氯乙烯)、 PVC(Polyvinyl Chloride,聚氯乙烯)、PA(Polyamide,聚醯胺)、PE(Polyethylene,聚乙烯)、PP(Polypropylene,聚丙烯)、EVOH(Ethylene-Vinyl alcohol,乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物)等者。該等之中,自阻氣性及耐針孔性之觀點而言,較佳為筒狀膜2係聚醯胺系樹脂膜。尤其,自阻氣性之觀點而言,更佳為包含含有芳香族二胺單位之共聚合聚醯胺系樹脂之膜。作為包含含有芳香族二胺單位之共聚合聚醯胺系樹脂,有間苯二甲胺與己二酸之共聚合樹脂、間苯二甲胺與己二酸及間苯二甲酸之共聚合樹脂等。
合成樹脂膜可為單層膜,亦可為複數層膜積層而得之多層膜。自可賦予各種功能之觀點而言,較佳地使用例如於基礎膜之單面及/或兩面上積層有密封劑膜之多層膜。再者,於上述多層膜中,包含於必需之各個層之間插入有接著層或阻氣層等者。此種多層膜除可藉由例如貼合2片以上膜之乾式層壓法、或於一方之膜上熔融擠出另一方之樹脂組合物並積層之擠出層壓法而製造以外,亦可藉由於共擠出樹脂組合物之後進行冷卻而成形積層之共擠出法等眾所周知之方法而製造。於多層膜之情形時,較佳為包含至少1層具有阻氣性之層之膜。
於用於高溫蒸煮用途之情形時,由於要求筒狀膜2具有可經受高溫蒸煮殺菌處理之膜強度及耐熱性,因此較佳地使用例如於作為基礎膜之聚醯胺系樹脂膜層之單面及/或兩面上設置作為密封劑層之聚乙烯或聚丙烯等聚烯烴系樹脂層之多層膜、或於包含作為基礎膜而包含之聚醯胺系樹 脂膜之阻氣層之兩面上經由聚丙烯系接著樹脂設置有包含聚丙烯系樹脂膜之密封層者。關於後者,作為阻隔層之聚醯胺系樹脂具有氧阻隔性及耐針孔性,作為密封層之聚丙烯系樹脂具有熱密封性及水蒸汽阻隔性。
重合部3之寬度(自筒狀膜2之內側端部2a至形成翼端部之外側端部2b之寬度)設為5~15 mm左右即可。若重合部3之寬度未達5 mm,則必需於寬度較窄之重合部3以較高之精度形成縱密封部4。另一方面,若重合部3之寬度超過15 mm則存在合成樹脂膜之使用量增大之傾向。再者,重合部3之寬度既可不使整個寬度面熔接,亦可使至少一部分寬度熔接。
縱密封部4係使用眾所周知之方法將重合部3遍佈其長度方向加以密封者。作為具體之密封方法,可列舉熱風密封或高頻密封、超音波密封等。
作為內容物5之例,可列舉醃菜、乳酪、香腸等液狀製品或膏狀製品等具有流動性之物品。
橫密封部6係形成於密封包裝體之長度方向兩端部,並遍佈密封包裝體之寬度方向全長而密封者。密封方法並無特別限定,只要為可確保氣密性之方法即可。例如可列舉熱風密封或高頻密封、超音波密封等。自施加之熱能不易向密封包裝體肩口洩漏、及可精度高地密封所期望之位置之方面而言,尤佳為超音波密封。再者,此處所說之兩端部係指密封包裝體之長度方向之兩側端部或其附近,於密封包裝體之長度方向之兩端部附近由橫密封部6密封之情 形時,存在亦可不密封長度方向之末端之情形。
橫密封部6所要求之條件係不存在密封包裝體內部與外部導通之部位。若存在與外部導通之部位,則難以確保氣密性。較佳為以滿足該條件之方式設置橫密封部6之態樣。例如,可將遍佈寬度方向全長而密封整個面之形狀、或遍佈密封包裝體之寬度方向全長而密封為網眼狀之形狀採用作為橫密封部6之形狀。此處所說之網眼狀係指雖網眼之間隙部分未經熔接但與網眼之網相當之部位經熔接者。於網眼構造中,雖實際上合成樹脂彼此熔接之總面積較小,但由於鄰接之間隙彼此之導通係藉由網眼阻礙,因此可充分地確保氣密性。該情況係指即便熔接所使用之總能量較少亦可形成具有充分之氣密性之橫密封。隨著網眼之眼變細、網變粗,又,橫密封部之寬度(相對於密封包裝體長度方向之長度)變大而氣密性存在提高之傾向。又,網眼構造係藉由交替地排列熔接部分與未熔接部分而集束時橫密封部成為於寬度方向上容易順利地摺疊,從而成為集束性更優異者。
作為橫密封部分之面積,自氣密性之觀點而言,較佳為橫密封部6之熔切面積相對於耳部(自結紮構件8之外側至膜端部之區域部)之總面積之比率超過5%而使膜內表面彼此熔接。自氣密性與膜之集束性之觀點而言,更佳為10~60%之範圍。藉由設為10%以上可充分地確保氣密性。又,藉由設為少於60%,可更順利且順利地進行膜之集束,因此可穩定地藉由結紮構件8進行結紮。
較佳為橫密封部6之寬度為0.1~6.0 mm。更佳為0.2~4.5 mm,進而佳為0.3~3.0 mm。雖藉由擴大橫密封部6而易於提高氣密性,但由於熔接部之剛性易變高而與集束性成為取捨之關係。因此,根據所使用之膜之剛性等適當調整橫密封部6之寬度即可。
又,較佳為橫密封部6包含遍佈筒狀膜之寬度方向全長而形成之至少1根連續之密封線。若以密封線大致平行之方式增加其根數,則雖容易提高氣密性,但熔接部之剛性容易變高之情況與橫密封部6相同。較佳為橫密封部6之密封線之寬度為0.1~2.0 mm,更佳為0.15~1.8 mm,進而佳為0.2~1.6 mm。再者,上述所列舉之橫密封部之態樣只不過為一例,只要不脫離本發明之主旨,可適當採用其他態樣。
結紮構件8分別集束筒狀膜2之兩端部而形成集束部7並且結紮集束部7。此處所說之兩端部係指橫密封部6或其附近,橫密封部6之附近係指自橫密封部6之端部起至10 mm左右以下之範圍。
本實施形態之結紮構件8係使用合成樹脂線材者。合成樹脂線材係捲繞集束部7,並於熔接部8a熔接(參照圖1(b))。合成樹脂線材之材質可使用PP、PET(Polyethylene Terephthalate,聚對苯二甲酸乙二酯)、PA(聚醯胺)、PS(Polystyrene,聚苯乙烯)、PE(聚乙烯)、HDPE(High Density Polyethylene,高密度聚乙烯)、VDC/VC(偏二氯乙烯/氯乙烯共聚物)、VDC/MA(偏二氯乙烯/丙烯酸甲酯共聚 物)、HIPS(耐衝擊性聚苯乙烯)等。
較佳為藉由超音波熔接形成合成樹脂線材之熔接部8a。若為超音波熔接,則可對所期望之位置以針點進行熔接處理,因此不易於合成樹脂膜產生損傷。又,若採用具有熱收縮性者作為合成樹脂線材,則於熔接時或包裝體之高溫蒸煮處理等加熱處理時發生熱收縮,可更緊密地束緊集束部7從而有助於提高氣密性。熱收縮率較佳為5~20%。再者,由於安裝結紮構件8時,合成樹脂線材之熔接並非與合成樹脂膜一體地進行,因此無論合成樹脂線材之熔點或軟化點高於或低於合成樹脂膜均可無問題地進行結紮。自高溫蒸煮等加熱處理之觀點而言,若合成樹脂線材之熔點或軟化點與合成樹脂膜之熔點或軟化點相同或其以上則結紮部之耐熱性提高,因此較佳。
作為結紮構件,除合成樹脂線材以外亦可使用鋁等金屬線材。然而,自廢棄時省去針對每種原材料進行分類之工時、或於製品檢查時可實施金屬探查之方面而言,尤佳為合成樹脂線材。
合成樹脂線材或金屬線材之直徑較佳為1~5 mm,長度較佳為6~24 mm。可為中空狀之線材,亦可為實心。再者,作為線材較佳為具有充分之剛性,可根據線材之直徑或長度、密封包裝體之外周長適當選擇剛性。
(密封包裝體之製造裝置)
圖2及圖3係模式性地表示用以製造密封包裝體1之裝置之圖。該等圖中所示之密封包裝體製造裝置10(以下,僅 稱為「裝置10」)係包含膜供給機構11、重合部形成機構31、填充機構21、縱密封形成機構(第1熔接機構)41、橫密封形成機構(第2熔接機構)53及結紮機構54。
膜供給機構11包含帶狀之合成樹脂膜12之捲筒12R、及複數個輥11a、11b,與重合部形成機構31分開配置。膜供給機構11經由輥11a、11b而對重合部形成機構31連續地供給合成樹脂膜12。
重合部形成機構31接收藉由膜供給機構11供給之合成樹脂膜12。重合部形成機構31包含將特定形狀之金屬片捲成大致螺線狀而形成之製筒摺疊器32。製筒摺疊器32使供給之合成樹脂膜12彎曲而形成筒狀體13。
於製筒摺疊器32之下方,配置有密封藉由製筒摺疊器32形成之重合部而形成筒狀膜成形體14之縱密封形成機構41。縱密封形成機構41並無特別限定,可列舉熱風密封或高頻密封、超音波密封。作為熱風密封之一例,可列舉以下之構成。即,使用自筒狀體13之外周面側向重合部噴附熱風之熱風施加噴嘴、與自筒狀體13之內周面側加熱重合部之內部加熱器向重合部噴附熱風並進行熱熔接而形成線狀之密封部(密封線)之構成。又,作為高頻密封之一例,可列舉如下構成:藉由將重合部夾持於高頻電極之間並施加高頻電場而使分子旋轉震動,藉由分子彼此之間之摩擦發熱產生熱而進行熔接。
於本實施形態中,自氣密性與筒狀包裝體之易開封性之觀點而言,採用超音波密封作為縱密封形成機構係尤佳之 方法。藉由超音波密封之熔接係將合成樹脂膜之重合部夾持於超音波口承與砧座之間並賦予超音波振動,藉此使合成樹脂膜之分子振動,藉由分子相互間之摩擦發熱產生熱而進行熔接之方法。此處所說之「超音波口承」係振動側之金屬件,「砧座」係其支承金屬件。超音波熔接之加熱能量係與超音波之振幅、超音波口承與砧座之間之按壓力及處理時間成正比。由於該等條件可比較容易且準確地進行控制,因此用以表現良好之易開封性之密封強度控制變得容易。因此,重合部藉由超音波熔接而熔接之本實施形態之密封包裝體係具有充分之氣密性,且具有優異之易開封性。
再者,具體而言,此處所說之「易開封性優異」係指以如下所示之方法測定熔接部之180度剝離應力時之測定值為2 N/15 mm寬度以上且12 N/15 mm寬度以下者,更佳為3 N/15 mm寬度以上且8 N/15 mm寬度以下者。若180度剝離應力未達2 N/15 mm寬度,則由於熔接不足而引起於以例如高溫蒸煮處理等加熱之情形時容易發生破袋(破裂)。另一方面,若180度剝離應力超過12 N/15 mm寬度,則密封強度過強而易開封性易不充分。除此以外,合成樹脂膜過度地熔融而密封部分之合成樹脂膜之厚度變薄會引起該部位容易破袋。
180度剝離應力之測定方法係依據ASTM F-88 FIG.1 LAP SEAL之以下之方法。即,自密封包裝體切出熔接部存在於長度方向之大致中央部之寬度15 mm、長度50 mm之短 條狀之試驗片(於短條之長度方向之大致中央部與其長度方向正交而存在熔接線者)。對此使用TENSILON萬能試驗機(商品名:RTC-1210,股份公司Orientec公司製造)測定180度剝離應力。此時,以將熔接部設為基點向上下方向拉伸上述試驗片之方式藉由上下2個膜夾頭保持試驗片。將測定初期之膜夾頭間之距離設為10 mm,於拉伸速度為300 mm/min之條件下,測定熔接部之180度剝離強度(測定1次/1根),計算出10根試驗片之180度剝離應力之平均值。
圖4係表示利用超音波密封之縱密封形成機構即縱超音波熔接機構41'之裝置之模式圖之圖。作為縱密封形成機構之縱超音波熔接機構41'配置於製筒摺疊器32之下方。縱超音波熔接機構41'係對藉由製筒摺疊器32形成之重合部進行超音波熔接而形成筒狀膜成形體3。縱超音波熔接機構41'係包含以分別抵接於合成樹脂膜14之重合部之內側及外側之方式配置之砧座43A及超音波口承42a。再者,超音波口承42a係與轉換自超音波振動子(未圖示)賦予之振動能量之振幅之增幅器42b一同構成超音波振盪機構42。於增幅器42b之基端側安裝有超音波振動子,經由增幅器42b向超音波口承42a賦予超音波振動。超音波振動子係藉由未圖示之控制裝置進行振動數、振幅之控制。
圖5所示之砧座43A係包含基座45與形成於該基座45上之抵接部44A。砧座43A之材質只要為一般所使用之金屬則無特別限定,但較佳為SUS304等對於摩擦磨損等具有耐久性者。
抵接部44A係如圖5(a)所示,於前端部包含相對於寬度方向具有曲率半徑Rb之曲面,該曲面抵接於合成樹脂膜之重合部。藉由具有此種形狀而使與重合部之接觸穩定。再者,Rb較佳為3 mm以上且10 mm以下。若Rb未達3 mm則熔接線變得過細,因而干擾之影響變大,熔接之穩定性易變得不充分。又,於高溫蒸煮處理時容易破袋。另一方面,若Rb超過10 mm超則由於接觸面積變大因此按壓力上升故而膜變得易破裂。
又,於厚度方向觀察抵接部44A時,如圖5(b)所示,厚度形狀(厚度方向之曲率半徑)為Ra且前端成為曲面形狀。藉由具有此種形狀而使與重合部之接觸穩定。再者,厚度方向之曲率半徑Ra較佳為0.5 mm以上且5 mm以下。若厚度方向之曲率半徑Ra未達0.5 mm則即便接觸面積變小、能量較小亦可進行熔接,但由於曲率變大因此膜易破裂。另一方面,若厚度方向之曲率半徑Ra超過5 mm,則接觸面積變大,用於熔接所需之能量之供給量容易增大,又加工速度易變得不充分。
使用圖5所示之砧座進行超音波熔接時,獲得1根線狀之熔接線。再者,砧座亦可於抵接於合成樹脂膜之重合部之面上包含於與重合部之長度方向一致之方向上延伸之至少1個以上凹部(槽)。藉由包含凹部而可將與超音波口承之接觸部位設為複數,從而形成之熔接線成為平行之複數根線狀。藉由熔接線成為複數個,可於維持密封包裝體之易開封性之狀態下達成更優異之氣密性。
圖6所示之砧座43B係包含基座45與形成於基座45上之抵接部44B,於抵接部44B之頂部包含凹部46。抵接部44B係如圖6(a)所示上部相對於寬度方向具有曲率半徑Rb之曲面,於頂部具有寬度d之凹部46。凹部46之側面與上部曲面之切面部係成為曲率半徑Rc之曲面。凹部46之寬度d較佳為0.1mm以上且0.5mm以下。若未達0.1mm則難以同時形成2根熔接線,另一方面,若超過0.5mm則由於熔接線間之距離拉開,因此密封部之寬度變寬而浪費變多。曲率半徑Rc較佳為0.1mm以上且0.5mm以下。若曲率半徑Rc未達0.1mm則應力過於集中而容易產生膜破裂,另一方面,若超過0.5mm則由於接觸面積變大因此按壓力上升而易產生容易引起膜破裂等不良狀況。
於使用圖6所示之砧座43B進行超音波熔接之情形時,砧座43B之抵接部經由合成樹脂膜與超音波口承接觸之部位之形狀係成為2根線狀。其結果藉由超音波熔接形成之密封部包含2根線狀熔接部。
超音波口承42a之形態並無特別限定,只要為與砧座43A或砧座43B經由合成樹脂膜14接觸時可向合成樹脂膜賦予超音波振動之形狀即可。例如,可列舉抵接面為平面之大致柱狀之金屬成形體等。
又,亦可於超音波口承42a附近包含冷卻超音波口承42a之口承冷卻機構。口承冷卻機構並無特別限定,例如,可列舉於超音波口承42a之外部設置風扇並藉由自該風扇送風之風空冷超音波口承之方法。存在若連續地進行 超音波熔接,則超音波口承42a具有熱而使超音波之輸出變得不穩定從而引起超音波振動子之破損之情況。藉由一面冷卻一面進行超音波熔接,可進行更穩定之超音波熔接。
雖於本實施形態中,表示設置1組砧座43A及超音波口承42a之對,但亦可包含2組以上。此時,各個砧座之抵接於合成樹脂膜之部位可以位於相同路徑上之方式使砧座之朝向一致而配置複數組之對,亦可以成為不同路徑之方式使砧座之朝向分別錯開而配置複數組之對。於配置為使砧座之朝向一致之情形時,形成之熔接線成為1根。此時,由於對相同部位進行2次超音波熔接,因此密封強度本身提高,並且相對於長度方向之密封強度之穩定性進一步提高。另一方面,若配置為使砧座之朝向錯開,則形成之熔接線成為複數根。因此,藉由熔接線根數之增加可獲得氣密性提高之效果。
又,由於超音波熔接可對所期望之部位以針點進行熔接,並可僅針對極其狹窄之部分進行處理,因此即便於熱收縮性較高之膜中亦可不使密封周邊部分多餘地收縮而將熔接部(密封線)設得較狹窄。因此,筒狀包裝體之兩端部之集束與結紮(密封)較容易,並可降低密封部之導通之風險。
自更上一層高度地達成較高之氣密性及優異之易開封性之觀點而言,較佳為密封包裝體之縱密封部4(第1密封部)包含於筒狀膜之長度方向上延伸之至少1根(1根或複數根) 線狀熔接部。
填充機構21係包含具有較製筒摺疊器32之內徑小之外徑之中空圓筒狀填充噴嘴22。填充噴嘴22係貫通製筒摺疊器32內並到達縱密封形成機構41之下游側位置,且以填充噴嘴22之中心與製筒摺疊器32之中心成為大致相同之方式配置。由於填充噴嘴22之開口部係位於縱密封形成機構41之下游側,因此可向藉由縱密封形成機構41形成之筒狀膜成形體14內填充內容物。於填充噴嘴之上端連接有向填充噴嘴22內供給內容物之送料泵23。填充機構21係根據送料泵23之驅動,將內容物供給至填充噴嘴22內。此處適用之內容物例如可列舉魚肉、畜肉、液蛋、果凍、蒟蒻及醃菜等液狀或膏狀之食品或物品,該等並無特別限定。
於填充噴嘴22之開口部之下游側,配置有將填充有內容物之筒狀膜成形體14向下方移送之傳送輥15a、15b。傳送輥15a、15b係藉由未圖示之驅動機構旋轉,並以自兩側夾持筒狀膜成形體14之方式配置。
於傳送輥15a、15b之下游側配置有束紮機構52。束紮機構52包含束紮輥52a、52b,其等以特定間隔自外部按壓填充有內容物之筒狀膜成形體14而形成擠走內容物之扁平面。束紮輥52a、52b係具有較將筒狀膜成形體14設為扁平時之寬度長之寬度之輥,且以能夠進行以特定間隔按壓筒狀膜成形體14之動作之方式藉由未圖示之輥支撐構件支撐。
於束紮機構52之下方配置有橫密封形成機構53。橫密封 形成機構53係如圖2及圖3所示,包含砧座53a與超音波口承(horn)53b。於超音波口承53b之基端側依序設置有未圖示之增幅器及超音波振動子,超音波振動子係藉由未圖示之控制機構控制。於圖7(a)中表示砧座53a與被處理物之抵接面之形狀,圖7(b)中表示超音波口承53b與被處理物之抵接面之形狀。於砧座53a之抵接面上,以網眼狀地交叉之方式突設有複數個凸條。超音波口承53b之抵接面由平面構成。於使用該等超音波口承與砧座進行橫密封時,形成網眼狀之橫密封部。再者,作為與本實施形態不同之態樣,亦可設為於超音波口承53b之抵接面以網眼狀地交叉之方式突設有複數個凸條,而砧座53a之抵接面由平面構成。
於圖8及圖9中例示本實施形態之橫密封圖案。圖8(a)係方形中空2根線之形狀,圖8(b)係方形中空3根線之形狀,圖8(c)係方形中空4根線之形狀。又,圖8(d)係2根線之形狀,圖8(e)係3根線之形狀。進而,圖9(a)係圓形中空線之形狀,圖9(b)係菱形中空2根線之形狀,圖9(c)係方形中空4根線且中段之方形位置錯開之形狀。由於該等橫密封圖案係具有充分之氣密性且熔接所使用之總能量亦較少因此為較佳之形狀。又,藉由交替地排列熔接部分與未熔接部分,集束時橫密封部於寬度方向變得容易順利地摺疊,從而成為集束性更加優異者。
再者,橫密封之形狀並不限定於圖8或圖9之例示或網眼狀,亦可為密封筒狀膜成形體14之寬度方向全長之整個面 者。又,於以遍佈筒狀膜成形體14之寬度方向全長之方式形成之線狀之情形時,藉由增加其根數可使氣密性提高。又,雖於本實施形態中,表示利用超音波密封者作為橫密封形成機構53,但並不限定於此,亦可適當採用熱風密封或高頻密封等合成樹脂膜之密封所使用之各種方法。
於橫密封形成機構53之下方設置有結紮機構54。結紮機構54係集束筒狀膜之扁平部分而形成集束部7,並藉由結紮構件8結紮集束部7。
結紮機構54係先於結紮構件8之結紮而形成集束部7。雖藉由結紮機構54之集束方法並無特別限定,但例如可列舉如下方法:將包含V字槽之2片集束板以V字槽相對向之方式配置,並使其沿藉由束紮輥形成之筒狀膜成形體14之扁平面往復運動,從而於集束板接近時形成集束部。
扁平部分之集束之部位係於本實施形態中,設為製作密封包裝體1時集束部7較橫密封部6之端部位於更內側。然而,並不限定於此,亦可集束橫密封部6。然而,自最終製作之密封包裝體1之外觀之方面而言,於密封包裝體中,較佳為將集束部7配置為較橫密封部6之端部更內側。
結紮機構54係於集束部7配置結紮構件8。藉由結紮機構54之結紮方法可採用將合成樹脂線材捲繞於集束部7上並對該合成樹脂線材之端部進行熔接之方法、或捲繞鋁等金屬線材並進行壓接之方法。然而,自無需廢棄時分類原材料之工時、或於製品檢查時可實施金屬探查之方面而言較佳為使用合成樹脂線材之方法。
於合成樹脂線材之熔接部之形成中,除超音波熔接以外可採用熱熔接等。然而,自能夠以針點對所期望之位置進行熔接處理從而不易產生對合成樹脂膜之損傷之方面而言,較佳為超音波熔接。
於結紮機構54之下游側,包含未圖示之切斷機構,其切斷填充有內容物且形成有密封部之筒狀膜成形體14,製作單個之密封包裝體。
(密封包裝體之製造方法)
詳細說明使用裝置10製造密封包裝體1之方法。首先,自膜供給機構11經由輥11a、11b向重合部形成機構31連續地供給合成樹脂膜12。合成樹脂膜12之供給速度係通常為10~60 m/min左右,根據使用之合成樹脂膜12之種類、厚度、剛性、填充之內容物之原材料或黏度等進行適當設定。
將藉由膜供給機構11供給之合成樹脂膜12自製筒摺疊器32之上表面開口向下表面開口導引。通過製筒摺疊器32內時,追隨其螺線構造而合成樹脂膜12彎曲為筒狀,從而成為包含其兩端緣重合之重合部之筒狀體13(重合部形成步驟)。該筒狀體13係自製筒摺疊器32之下表面開口向下方移送。
其次,藉由縱密封形成機構41密封重合部,形成筒狀膜成形體14(第1熔接步驟)。其後,自填充噴嘴22向筒狀膜成形體14內部導入內容物(填充步驟)。
又,作為第1熔接步驟,自密封強度之控制之方面而 言,尤佳為圖4所示之縱超音波熔接機構41'。如圖10所示,於本實施形態中,自重合部之內周面側使砧座43A抵接於重合部,另一方面,自重合部之外周面側使超音波口承42a抵接於重合部。於該狀態下自超音波口承42a向重合部賦予超音波振動時,夾持於砧座43A及超音波口承42a之部位係藉由振動能量產生摩擦熱而樹脂局部地熔融,從而使重合之合成樹脂膜熔接。由於合成樹脂膜14係連續地供給至製筒摺疊器32中,因此熔接部位係連續地向合成樹脂膜之上方側移動。其結果,於重合部中,形成沿著長度方向之1根線狀之熔接部。
由於超音波熔接中之加熱能量係與超音波之振幅、超音波口承42a與砧座43A之間之按壓力及處理時間成正比,因此藉由連續地控制該等要素,可於流動方向上容易地控制密封強度,從而可容易地形成具有氣密性且易開封性優異之筒狀膜成形體3。
隨著超音波熔接之超音波之振幅變大加而熱能量變高且熔接變得容易。超音波之振幅較佳為15 μm以上、60 μm以下。若振幅未達15 μm,則加熱能量過低而熔接不足,包裝後,例如於高溫蒸煮處理等中易發生破袋(破裂)。另一方面,若振幅超過60 μm,則加熱能量過高,易開封性易成為不充分。除此以外,合成樹脂膜過度地熔融而密封部分之合成樹脂膜之厚度變薄亦會導致該部位容易破袋。
隨著超音波口承42a與砧座43A間之按壓力變高而加熱能量變高且熔接變得容易。兩者之按壓力較佳為5 N以上、 70 N以下。若按壓力未達5 N,則加熱能量過低成為熔接不足,包裝後,例如於高溫蒸煮處理等中易破袋(破裂)。另一方面,若按壓力超過70 N,則加熱能量過高,易開封性易成為不充分。除此以外,合成樹脂膜過度地熔融而密封部分之合成樹脂膜之厚度變薄亦會導致該部位容易破袋。
再者,上述超音波條件係以成為適當之密封強度之方式,根據膜厚度、材質(非晶性/結晶性、及熔點等熱特性)或製袋速度進行適當調整即可。藉由連續地控制超音波壓接與振幅而控制超音波輸出為固定,容易地控制密封部之強度為固定。
填充內容物後,藉由束紮輥52a、52b以特定間隔自外部按壓而將內容物擠走,並將擠走內容物之部位形成為扁平(束口步驟)。其後,藉由超音波口承53b與砧座53a夾持該扁平部分之一部分,一面以固定壓力按壓一面賦予超音波振動,從而密封按壓之部位而形成橫密封部6(第2熔接步驟)。再者,橫密封部形成時,如圖7(c)所示,較佳為以重合部與砧座53a相對面之方式構成。藉此,可進一步提高橫密封部之氣密性。
超音波振動之振幅及振動數、超音波口承與砧座間之按壓力及處理時間等條件係以成為適當之密封強度之方式,根據處理之合成樹脂膜之厚度、材質(非晶性/結晶性、及熔點等熱特性)、筒狀膜成形體14之寬度、製袋速度等進行適當調整即可。
亦可於本實施形態之砧座53a之抵接面上,如圖7(a)所示 以突設有網眼狀地交叉之複數根凸條。藉此,形成之橫密封部6係成為網眼之間隙部分未經熔接而相當於網眼之網之部位經熔接者。再者,砧座53a之抵接面之形狀並無特別限定,例如亦可為如上述圖8及圖9所例示之形狀。
形成橫密封部6之後,藉由結紮機構54集束筒狀膜之扁平部分而形成集束部7,於該集束部設置結紮構件8(結紮步驟)。其後,切斷連續地製作而相連之密封包裝體之間之膜從而獲得單個之密封包裝體1。
根據本實施形態,由於藉由橫密封部6及結紮構件8分別密封兩端部,因此可獲得具有優異之氣密性之密封包裝體1。又,根據本實施形態之裝置10,製造過程之加熱引起之損傷足夠少,可充分地抑制密封包裝體1之肩口產生針孔等缺陷產生。
[實施例]
以下,藉由實施例及比較例詳細地說明本發明,但本發明並不限定於該等。
(實施例1)
使用具有與圖2、3所示之裝置10相同之構成之裝置,藉由以下之方法製作密封包裝體。
作為合成樹脂膜,使用於MXD(Metaxylenediamine,間苯二甲胺)尼龍系樹脂膜之兩面經由接著性聚丙烯積層聚丙烯之厚度為45 μm之多層膜。將該多層膜移送至重合部形成機構而使其彎曲為筒狀,形成膜兩側緣重合之重合部後,對該重合部進行熱風密封從而形成筒狀膜成形體。熱 風密封係採用於筒狀體之內周面側設置內部加熱器並自外周面側噴附熱風之構成,將內部加熱器溫度設為120℃,將熱風之溫度設為250℃。
繼而,藉由填充機構於筒狀膜成形體內填充內容物(魚肉糜),其後,形成藉由束紮輥擠走內容物之扁平面。
形成扁平面後,於該扁平面藉由超音波密封形成橫密封部。超音波密封之條件係設為超音波振幅55 μm、振動數40 kHz,將超音波口承與砧座之間之按壓力設為700 N,將輸出設為300 W。於砧座中,使用圖7(a)所示之於抵接面形成有網眼狀者。
繼而,集束扁平面而形成集束部。集束部係最終製作密封包裝體時,將集束部設置於較橫密封部位於更內側之部位。繼而,用直徑2.5 mm、長度20 mm且剖面形狀呈圓形之鋁線材夾持集束部並進行壓接從而進行結紮。結紮後,切斷連續地製作之密封包裝體之間之膜從而製作單個之密封包裝體。
(實施例2)
除代替藉由鋁線材實現之結紮而藉由聚丙烯線材進行結紮以外係與實施例1同樣地製作密封包裝體。於本實施例中,作為配置於密封包裝體之兩端部之結紮構件,使用直徑2.5 mm、長度20 mm且剖面形狀呈圓形(實心)之聚丙烯製線材。該合成樹脂線材之熔點為135℃,熱收縮率為10%。以夾持集束部之方式配置合成樹脂線材後,以超音波將該合成樹脂線材之端部彼此熔接。
(實施例3)
除代替藉由熱風密封形成重合部而藉由超音波密封形成以外係與實施例1相同地製作密封包裝體。本實施例中之超音波密封係以抵接於重合部之內周面之方式於筒狀體之內周面側設置砧座,並以抵接於重合部之外周面之方式於外周面側設置超音波口承而進行。於上述砧座之抵接面中,沿重合部之長度方向設置有槽,因此於重合部中,形成於長度方向延伸之2根平行之密封線。超音波之振幅係27 μm,振動數係40 kHz,將超音波口承與砧座之按壓力設為50 N,將輸出設為35 W而進行密封。
(實施例4)
與實施例2同樣地藉由丙烯線材進行結紮,與實施例3同樣地藉由超音波密封形成重合部,除將橫密封部之形狀設為方形中空2根線之形狀(參照圖8(a))以外係與實施例1同樣地獲得密封包裝體。
(實施例5)
除將橫密封部之形狀設為方形中空3根線之形狀(參照圖8(b))以外係與實施例4同樣地製作密封包裝體。
(實施例6)
除將橫密封部之形狀設為2根線之形狀(參照圖8(d))以外係與實施例4同樣地製作密封包裝體。
(比較例1)
除未設置橫密封部以外係於與實施例1相同之條件下製作密封包裝體。
(比較例2)
除將厚度為40 μm之偏二氯乙烯系樹脂用作合成樹脂膜,且代替於兩端部設置包含橫密封部及鋁線材之結紮構件而形成使用帶之密封部以外係於與實施例1相同之條件下製作密封包裝體。
使用帶之密封部之形成係將擠走內容物而形成之未使用部於橫穿扁平之面之方向集束,以包圍集束之未使用部之方式重疊帶,將重疊有該帶之未使用部之橫穿方向與該帶一併密封(第1密封),又,於與第1密封交叉之方向上密封上述帶(第2密封),於相對於第2密封夾持集束之未使用部之相反側且與第1密封交叉之方向上密封上述帶。
使用之帶之形狀係長度18 mm、寬度16 mm、厚度80 μm,材質係與本比較例中之合成樹脂膜相同之偏二氯乙烯系樹脂。密封係藉由超音波密封進行,並設為振動頻率40 kHz、振幅55 μm、按壓力700 N、輸出300 W。
(比較例3)
除未進行結紮構件之結紮以外係於與實施例1相同之條件下製作密封包裝體。
關於以如上述方式所得之實施例1~6及比較例1~3,進行以下所示之評價。將評價結果示於表1。
<高溫蒸煮破裂(破袋)>
製作1000根密封包裝體,實施120℃、30分鐘之高溫蒸煮處理。其後,確認產生高溫蒸煮破裂(破袋)之根數。於表1中表示產生高溫蒸煮破裂(破袋)之根數。
<高溫蒸煮後之導通>
關於實施120℃、30分鐘之高溫蒸煮處理之密封包裝體,將導電測試器之正極側插入密封包裝體之中央,於5%食鹽水中浸入上述測試器之負極側與該密封包裝體之兩端之密封部,測定導通之有無。於表1中表示確認出導通之密封包裝體之根數。
<保存褶皺之產生之有無>
關於實施120℃、30分鐘之高溫蒸煮處理之密封包裝體,於溫度23℃、濕度60% RH之條件下保管,藉由外觀檢查評價褶皺產生之有無。於表1中表示確認有褶皺之工時點時之保管日數。
<生產速度>
關於上述實施例及比較例,評價密封包裝體之生產速度。於表1中表示每1分鐘之製作根數(發數)。
[產業上之可利用性]
根據本發明,提供一種製造過程之加熱引起之損傷足夠少之具有優異之氣密性之密封包裝體。又,根據本發明,提供一種可充分有效率地製造上述密封包裝體之製造方法與製造裝置。

Claims (18)

  1. 一種密封包裝體之製造方法,其包含:重合部形成步驟,使帶狀合成樹脂膜彎曲而形成該膜之兩側緣部重合之筒狀體;第1熔接步驟,於該膜之長度方向熔接上述筒狀體之重合部而形成第1密封部,從而獲得筒狀膜成形體;填充步驟,向上述筒狀膜成形體內填充內容物;束紮步驟,於上述筒狀膜成形體上隔開特定間隔而連續地形成自外側對填充有內容物之上述筒狀膜成形體施加力並擠走內容物之扁平部;第2熔接步驟,對上述扁平部施加熱,遍佈上述筒狀膜成形體之寬度方向全長使該筒狀膜成形體之內表面彼此熔接而形成第2密封部;及結紮步驟,於上述第2密封部或其附近集束上述筒狀膜成形體而形成集束部並且結紮上述集束部。
  2. 如請求項1之密封包裝體之製造方法,其中於上述第2熔接步驟中,以上述第2密封部之面積相對於自上述結紮構件外側至上述筒狀膜端部之耳部之總面積之比率超過5%之方式形成上述第2密封部。
  3. 如請求項1或2之密封包裝體之製造方法,其中於上述第2熔接步驟中,將上述第2密封部之寬度形成為0.1mm~6.0mm。
  4. 如請求項1或2之密封包裝體之製造方法,其中於上述第2熔接步驟中,上述第2密封部係以遍佈筒狀膜寬度方向 全長而包含至少1根連續之密封線之方式形成。
  5. 如請求項4之密封包裝體之製造方法,其中於上述第2熔接步驟中,將上述密封線之寬度形成為0.1mm~2.0mm。
  6. 如請求項1或2之密封包裝體之製造方法,其中於上述第2熔接步驟中,網眼狀地將上述筒狀膜之內表面彼此熔接而形成上述第2密封部。
  7. 如請求項1或2之密封包裝體之製造方法,其中藉由超音波密封形成上述第2密封。
  8. 如請求項1或2之密封包裝體之製造方法,其中於上述第1熔接步驟中,上述第1密封部係藉由超音波密封連續地密封,且以包含於上述筒狀膜之長度方向上延伸之至少1根線狀熔接部之方式形成上述第1密封部。
  9. 如請求項1或2之密封包裝體之製造方法,其中於上述結紮步驟中,於上述集束部之周圍配置合成樹脂線材,並將該線材之端部彼此熔接。
  10. 一種密封包裝體製造裝置,其包含:重合部形成機構,其使帶狀合成樹脂膜彎曲而形成該膜之兩側緣部重合之筒狀體;第1熔接機構,其熔接上述筒狀體之重合部而形成第1密封部,從而獲得筒狀膜成形體;填充機構,其向上述筒狀膜成形體內填充內容物;束紮機構,其於上述筒狀膜成形體上隔開特定間隔而連續地形成自外側對填充有內容物之上述筒狀膜成形體 施加力並擠走內容物之扁平部;第2熔接機構,其對上述扁平部施加熱,遍佈上述筒狀膜成形體之寬度方向全長使該筒狀膜成形體之內表面彼此熔接而形成第2密封部;及結紮機構,其於上述第2密封部或其附近集束上述筒狀膜成形體而形成集束部並且結紮上述集束部。
  11. 如請求項10之密封包裝體製造裝置,其中上述第2熔接機構係以上述第2密封部之面積相對於自上述結紮構件外側至上述筒狀膜端部之耳部之總面積之比率超過5%之方式形成上述第2密封部。
  12. 如請求項10或11之密封包裝體製造裝置,其中上述第2熔接機構係將上述第2密封部之寬度形成為0.1mm~6.0mm。
  13. 如請求項10或11之密封包裝體製造裝置,其中上述第2熔接機構係以遍佈筒狀膜寬度方向全長而包含至少1根連續之密封線之方式形成上述第2密封部。
  14. 如請求項13之密封包裝體製造裝置,其中上述第2熔接機構係將上述密封線之寬度形成為0.1mm~2.0mm。
  15. 如請求項10或11之密封包裝體製造裝置,其中上述第2熔接機構係網眼狀地將上述筒狀膜之內表面彼此熔接而形成上述第2密封部。
  16. 如請求項10或11之密封包裝體製造裝置,其中上述第2熔接機構係包含藉由超音波密封於上述扁平部形成上述第2密封之機構。
  17. 如請求項10或11之密封包裝體製造裝置,其中上述第1熔接機構係藉由半圓狀之形狀之砧座與超音波口承形成第1密封部之機構,且形成於上述筒狀膜之長度方向上延伸之至少1根線狀熔接部。
  18. 如請求項10或11之密封包裝體製造裝置,其中上述結紮機構係包含於上述集束部之周圍配置合成樹脂線材並將該線材之端部彼此熔接之機構。
