Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.細胞の再生または分化を変化させるためのデバイスであって、 a)縫合糸、チューブ、シート、および組織操作のための足場からなる 群より選択される構造の形態である電気伝導性ポリマー、および b)該ポリマーを横切る電圧または電流を誘導する手段、ここで、該手 段は該ポリマーと電気的に接続されている を具備し、 該デバイスが細胞に付着するかまたは隣接し、そして該細胞の再生または分化を 変化させるに効果的な量の電圧または電流が該細胞に印加される場合、該細胞を 損傷させることなく、細胞の再生または分化を変化させ得る、デバイス。 2.前記電気伝導性ポリマーが、ポリアニリン、ポリピロール、ポリチオフェン 、ならびにそれらのコポリマーおよびブレンドからなる群より選択される、請求 項1に記載のデバイス。 3.前記電気伝導性ポリマーがポリピロールを含む、請求項1に記載のデバイス 。 4.前記細胞が、脳、脊髄、知覚および運動ニューロンからなる群より選択され る、請求項1に記載のデバイス。 5.前記ポリマーが、ポリマー性支持構造上にコートされているかまたはポリマ ー性支持構造とブレンドされている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。 6.前記構造が生分解性ポリマーを含む、請求項5に記載のデバイス。 7.神経細胞の成長を刺激する組成物をさらに具備する、請求項1に記載のデバ イス。 8.細胞の再生または分化を変化させるための方法であって、 細胞を請求項1から7のいずれかに規定されるデバイスに付着させるか 隣接させる工程、および 電流または電圧を、前記ポリマーに付着または隣接する細胞の再生また は分化を変化させるに有効な量および十分な時間で印加する工程 を包含する、方法。 9.前記デバイスを患者に移植する工程をさらに包含する、請求項8に記載の方 法。 10.前記細胞が神経細胞であり、そして電圧または電流を、該神経細胞を含む 神経組織の治癒を増強するに効果的な量で、前記ポリマーに印加する工程をさら に包含する、請求項9に記載の方法。 11.前記神経組織が、中枢神経系組織および末梢神経系組織からなる群より選 択される、請求項10に記載の方法。 12.前記神経細胞の神経突起の伸長が増強される、請求項11に記載の方法。 13.電圧または電流を、前記細胞の再生を増強するに効果的な量で、前記ポリ マーに印加する工程をさらに包含する、請求項9に記載の方法。 14.前記伝導性ポリマーが、前記細胞の付着部位として供される、その表面に 結合した付着分子をさらに具備する、請求項8に記載の方法。 15.前記ポリマーと共に前記神経組織の治癒を増強する組成物を移植する工程 をさらに包含する、請求項10に記載の方法。
