Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.フタル酸又はそのカルボキシ基がカルボキシ基から縮合反応で誘導可能であ る単位により置換されていてよく、フタル酸のo−フェニレン単位の水素原子1 個以上が不活性基によって置換されていてよいフタル酸誘導体の陰極還元により フタリドを製造する場合に、この還元を、50%より少ない水を含有する有機溶 剤中で、かつ、分割されていない電解液セル中で行うことを特徴とする、フタリ ドの製法。 2.一般式I: [式中、置換基は次のものを表す: R1、R2、R3及びR4:相互に無関係に、水素、C1〜C4−アルキル又はハロ ゲンである、 R5及びR6: a)相互に無関係に−COOH又はCOOXであり、ここで、XはC1〜C4− アルキルである、 b)置換基R5又はR6の一方は−COONY4であり、他方は置換基CONH2 であり、ここで、YはC1〜C4−アルキル又は水素である、 c)R5とR6は一緒になって−CO−O−CO− である]のフタル酸又はフタル酸誘導体を使用する、請求項1に記載の方法。 3.フタル酸誘導体として、フタル酸ジ(C1〜C3−アルキル)−エステルを使 用する、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。 4.グラファイト電極又は炭素電極を使用する、請求項1から3のいずれか1項 に記載の方法。 5.有機溶剤として、脂肪族C1〜C4−アルコール又はこのようなアルコールと カルボン酸アミドとの混合物を使用する、請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載 の方法。 6.導電性塩として、4級アンモニウム塩を使用する、請求項1から5のいずれ か1項に記載の方法。 7.陽極カップリング法のために、陽極減極剤として、電気化学的酸化のために 好適である慣用の有機化合物を使用する、請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載 の方法。 8.陽極カップリング法のために、介在物質としてハロゲン化合物を使用する、 請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 9.介在物質として臭化物又は沃化物を使用する、請求項8に記載の方法。
