810,205. Sectional boilers. ARCRAFT WELDING Ltd., DAVIS, J. H., and CARPENTER, H. J. June 21, 1956 [June 21, 1955], No. 17928/55. Class 123(2) In a sectional water heating boiler comprising flat vertical sections 1, T- shaped water inlet and outlet pipes 2, 3 are provided at identical points on each section so that when the sections are assembled the respective pipes are disposed in alignment and are connected by readily dismountable expansion joints 4 to constitute inlet and outlet manifolds. On their inner faces the sections have brackets 5 to support firebars 6. The rear section of the boiler is in the form of a water-jacketed flue 9 through which combustion gases discharge into .a soot box 11.
