[Class 123 (ii)] In a boiler having a secondary combustion chamber G with vertical water tubes K between horizontal tube plates F, E, a baffle L is interposed between the inlet D from the furnace chamber B and the outlet H to the chimney, and the pitch of the water tubes adjacent the baffle is less than the pitch of the tubes opposite the baffle.
