[Class 51 (i)] [Also in Group XI] A pulverulent-fuel combustion apparatus of the kind disclosed in the parent Specification has the fluid heating tubes forming the wall at the outlet end of the primary chamber upwardly extending and, where bent to define the gas outlet throat, each tube includes inwardly projecting parts and an intermediate arcuate part. These tubes are connected between a lower water drum and an upper header. Also the secondary air inlet is divided to form a plurality of parallel sections, each having independently operable dampers. The apparatus described is identical with that described in Specification 598,141.
