751,585. Combustion chambers. SCHWEIZERISCHE LOKOMOTIV - UND MASCHINENFABRIK. Oct. 4, 1954 [Oct. 8, 1953], No. 28527/54. Class 7(3) A combustion chamber 3 in a piston is formed with a base 5 approximately perpendicular to, and a side wall 6 approximately parallel to, the cylinder axis, the jets of fuel from a nozzle 8 being so directed that they are reflected from the base 5 to the side wall 6 and then towards the opening 4. A projection 15 is provided at the centre of the base 5, which latter may slope slightly outwards. The wall 6 may also be slightly inclined. The engine is air cooled
