674,650. Sheep-shears. PRINCEP ENGINEERING CO., Ltd., and CLOUGH, C. Jan. 22, 1951. [Jan. 21, 1950] No. 1653/50. Class 131. [Also in Groups XXII, XXIII and XXV. A portable machine tool, particularly for the use of farmers, comprises a shaft 16 which carries a grinding wheel 40 and a connection for a flexible shaft 48 driving sheep-shears 51. In place of the flexible shaft and outboard support 50, a drive connection 65 may be supported on a bracket 43 so that three flexible shafts connected by a chain drive may be provided. The machine may also be used for drilling (see Group XXII) and wood-working (see Group XXIII) . The shaft 16 carries a belt pulley which is rotated either by a separate motor or by the power take-off 87, Fig. 13, of a tractor. The machine is adapted to be lifted and carried by a tractor by means of a frame 88 and a link 92. The link 92 also adjusts the belt-tension.
