Abstract

The machine working, for example, as a mowing machine has a working member (4) which is lowered in the working position (Figure 1) and which is pivoted upwards in the rest or transport position. The drive of the member (4) takes place via a drive shaft (8), belt pulleys (11, 12) and driving belts (29). The drive shaft (8) has an output journal (8'). This can be used for driving a further appliance (9, 10). The latter can be carried out even when the working member (4) is in its non-driven rest or transport position, since the belt drive (11, 12, 29) is ineffective in this position. The belt (29) is brought out of non-positive engagement with the driving belt pulley (11) by reducing the centre distance between the belt pulleys (11, 12). <IMAGE>
