[Class 30] A safety razor comprises a blade 5, resiliently grasped between the parts 4 of a split shank 2, and a guard 7 surrounding the blade and having coaxial apertures 8, 9 to receive the split shank. A handle 1 is recessed at 11 to receive the boss 10 and is slotted at 12 allowing limited rotation of the guard to four shaving and stropping positions.
