[Class 36] A device for sealing the end of a cable comprises a plug or cap D of flexible insulating material having one or more integral tubular sleeves D<1> for accommodating the stripped cores B<1>. The plug D may be in the form of a disc or cap fitting into or over the end of a sealing pot A which is threaded at A<1> to screw on to the end of the cable sheath B, and may wholly or partially fill the space within the pot A. Any remaining space within the pot A may be filled with a plastic insulating material C.
