577,892. Alloys. HATFIELD, W. H., and GREEN, H. April 7, 1941, No. 4634. [Class 82 (i)] Alloy steels particularly for the construction of mechanical parts to be operated under stress at temperatures up to 800‹ C. contain up to 1.5 per cent of carbon, 15-25 per cent of nickel, 12-20 per cent of chromium, 2-6 per cent of molybdenum, 2-6 per cent of copper, and 0.25-2 per cent of titanium, with or without up to 2 per cent of manganese, up to 2 per cent of silicon, and up to 1 per cent of vanadium.
