Abstract
508,710. Alloys. HATFIELD, W. E., and BRIDGE, J. F. Jan. 17, 1938, No. 1532. [Class 82 (i)] An austenitic alloy steel contains 15-35 per cent of chromium, 10-30 per cent of nickel, 5-15 per cent of molybdenum and up to 0.2 per cent of carbon, together with usual amounts of manganese and silicon. According to the Provisional Specification, the minimum proportion of molybdenum may be lower.
