537,708. Alloys ; annealing. HATFIELD, W. H., and GREEN, H. Dec. 30, 1939, No. 33113. [Classes 72 and 82 (i)] Steel alloys particularly suitable for turbine blading contain 24-27 per cent. of chromium, 19-21À5 per cent. of nickel, 0À25-1 per cent. of titanium, 1À3-1À6 per cent. of silicon, up to 1 per cent. of manganese, and carbon not over one quarter of the titanium content. The alloys may be air-cooled from 900-1050‹C. Specifications 375,777 and 380,805 are referred to.
