518,075. Alloys; annealing. CLARKE, H. W., and AITCHISON, L. July 29, 1938, No. 22561. [Classes 72 and 82 (i)] An aluminium alloy contains 2.1-4 per cent. of copper, 0.2-2 per cent. of magnesium, 0.2- 1.5 per cent. of nickel, 0.7-1.5 per cent. of iron, 0.2-0.49 per cent. of silicon, and from a trace to 0.25 per cent. of titanium, with or without up to 0.25 per cent. of manganese. The alloy may be quenched from 510-535‹C. and reheated at not over 200‹C.
