Abstract

The aluminium alloys set out in the parent Specification and in Specifications 328,138, [Class 82 (i), Metals, Extracting &c.], 340,331, and 342,729 are modified in either or both of the following respects: (1) the nickel content is raised above 2,5 per cent but is not over 4,5 per cent; (2) the silicon content is raised above 2,8 per cent but is not over 5 per cent. The alloys may be treated by the process described in Specification 340,332.
