Abstract
Wrought articles are made from iron-chromium-manganese alloys which after air-cooling have stain-resisting and deep drawing properties, containing about 16-22 per cent of chromium, at least 5 per cent of manganese, and not more than about 0,3 per cent of carbon. The alloys may be substantially free from nickel, or, if nickel is present, the total of the chromium, manganese, and nickel should not exceed 40 per cent. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 117,286 and 309,841, [both in Class 82 (i). Metals, Extracting &c.].
