Stain-resisting iron alloys contain 16-22 per cent of chromium, 5-15 per cent of manganese, up to 3 per cent of copper, and not more than 0,3 per cent of carbon. Specifications 309,841, [Class 82 (i), Metals, Extracting &c.], and 361,916 are referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 309,841.
