Alloy steel for structural purposes contains less than 0,3 per cent of carbon, 0,7-1,1 per cent of chromium, 0,25-0,5 per cent of copper, and 0,5-1 per cent of manganese. The silicon may be below 0,2 per cent and the phosphorus below 0,05 per cent.
