534,288. Alloys; annealing. WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC INTERNATIONAL CO. Sept. 21, 1939, No. 26352. Convention date, Oct. 21, 1938. [Classes 72 and 82 (i)] Copper alloys contain 0.5-3 per cent. of cobalt, 0.5-3 per cent. of iron, and 0.05-0.5 per cent. of beryllium, the ratio of cobalt to iron being preferably 0.5-1.25 : 1. Heat treatment may comprise quenching from 750-1075‹C. followed by ageing at 450-600‹C.
