Abstract

514,594. Alloys ; annealing. SERI HOLDING SOC. ANON. Jan. 26,1938, No. 18563/39. Convention date, June 30, 1937. Divided out of 513,773. [Classes 72 and 82 (i)] Aluminium alloys containing 1-3 per cent. of beryllium contain also up to 2 per cent. of manganese with or without up to 4 per cent. of iron. The alloys may be quenched in water or air from 470-515‹C. and thereafter annealed at 160-190‹C. for 1-10 hours one or more times. This may be followed by magnetic or electric treatment, e.g. with supersonic waves. Specification 295,265, [Class 82 (i)], is referred to. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also the subject-matter of Specifications 513,773, 514,593 and 514,595. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
