551,864. Fireplaces. KELLEY, T. S., and ANDERSON, J. M. Nov. 10, 1941, No. 14444. [Class 126] The firebox of a closed solid fuel stove, particularly of the kind having a bottom grate with a central rocking bar, closed above by removable fire covers and at the front by a fire door, is provided at the front of the firebox with a fixed rectangular iron frame 14 the opening 15 in which is closed by an iron plate 16 secured by spacing members 18 to the hinged imperforate door 17. The latter is inclined and mounted on hinges attached to housing 19. An 'air space of increasing width towards the bottom is provided between the plate 16 and door 17. The bottom grate has side members 4 and a central rocking bar 5.
