[Class 126] A grate adapted to be fitted into a domestic fireplace comprises a dished fuel-holder 2 integral with or secured to a front breastplate 1 and formed, along a raised centre part 3, with openings 4a co-operating with a hit-and-miss draughtcontrolling slide 5, the latter being connected to and operated by the movements of an air-inlet door 6 in the breastplate 1.
