[Class 126] An inset for a domestic firegrate comprises an upper portion a forming the front of the firebox below which is a retangular opening closed by a cover d hinged at e. A lug g may be provided for moving the cover which may hinge upwardly to lie against the rearwardly inclined upper portion a. The air to the grate is adjusted by the opening of the cover which is retained in position by two springs or spring-loaded arms e which make frictional contact with internal walls.
