Abstract
500,017. Cathode-ray tubes. LORENZ AKT.-GES., C. May 5, 1938, No. 13459. Convention date, May 5, 1937. [Class 39 (i)] The electrodes of an electron gun are pushfits in a glass tube 1 of uniform diameter, the tube 1 being fixed in the Braun tube radially by radial springs and axially by the electrode leads 12. The electrodesmounted inside the tube 1 are a Wehnelt cylinder 2, a suction anode 3, a lens electrode 4, a diaphragm electrode 5 and the anode 6. The electrode 7, forming part of the lens system, is constituted by a metal coating. An insulating or metallic body 8 carries the cathode 10. The tube 1 may be apertured to accommodate the leads to the individual electrodes. Specification 425,234 is referred to.
