Abstract

454,372. Fuel - pumps. TECALEMIT, Ltd., and CHALMERS, R. A., Great West Road, Brentford, Middlesex. Feb. 18, 1936, No. 6470/35. [Class 102 (i)] A diaphragm fuel pump, particularly applicable for aircraft, and of the type in which the suction stroke is effected mechanically and the discharge stroke is effected by a spring, is provided with an air vessel 5, which communicates with the discharge pipe 3 by means of a tube 10 extending to the centre of the air vessel, so that the latter is effective in all positions of the aircraft. The base fitting 6 of the air vessel forms the housing for the spring 7 of the discharge valve 4. Specifications 122,414, [Class 102 (i)], and 384,080 are referred to.
