420,873. Collapsable tubes. MACLEAN, A. S., 34, Hillcroft Crescent, Wembley, Middlesex. May 12, 1934, No. 14421. [Class 11] The closure cap and threaded neck portion of a collapsable tubular container having the body portion formed of soft metal, for example tinned lead, are both formed from mouldable non-staining material such as artificial resin. The parts may be attached together as shown in Fig. 1 by forming the body with a flange 2 adapted to be gripped between a flanged portion 4 of the neck 5 and a threaded clamping ring 6, or the metal of the body may be expanded or spun to engage undercut or recessed portions of the neck flange, as in the constructions shown in Figs. 6 and 7.
