Abstract

401,631. Bottles. TWEEDDALE, E., and BEATSON, CLARK, & CO., Ltd., Rotherham Glass Works, Rotherham, York. shire. Aug. 16, 1933, No. 22900. [Class 125 (iii).] In a bottle of the type having screw-threads on the exterior of the neck adapted to be engaged by a threaded closure cap, the pouring lip is formed with downwardly inclined outer and inner edges, 7, 8, forming a relatively sharp angle with each other and providing line contact with the closure cap, the neck of the bottle being reduced in diameter between the lip and the screw-threads in order to facilitate pouring. The edge formed by the junction of the outer edge 7 and the lower edge 13 may be rounded off.
