Abstract

468,161. Paper containers. JAGENBERG-WERKE AKT.-GES. Aug. 27, 1936, No. 23538. Convention date, Oct. 23, 1935. [Classes 18 and 125 (iii)] A paper container, e.g. of cup or bottle shape, in which a closing cap 6, Fig. 2, has a screw thread which engages an inner screw thread 2, Fig. 1, on the container is provided with an upper rim x which joins the screw thread on the container and may be more conical than the thread. The cap may be conical or cylindrical. The pitch of the two threads may differ slightly to give a tight joint. The flanged rim of the cap may contact the rim of the container which may itself be flanged. The continuous screw threads on the cap and container may be replaced by interrupted threads, grooves or the like so that the closure resembles a bayonetjoint.
