Abstract

Tubes or containers, collapsible.-A collapsible tube or container, of the kind provided with a closure cap screwing on to the neck of the tube and spaced from the outer portion of the nozzle or spout, comprises a spout engaging frictionally with, or anchored to, the container, and a closure cap detachably engaged with the body of the container or the spout. As shown in Fig. 1, the spout 4, which has a bore of rectangular crosssection, is flared at 6 and carries a bead 7 fitting in the annular groove 8. Fig. 3 shows a modification in which the spout is provided with a grooved flange 19, with which engages the inturned flange 14 of the body 13, while, in Fig. 4, the spout 28 is shown anchored to the body 29 at 31.
