Abstract

418,280. Spray carburetters. SYVAHUOKO, K. J., Helsinki, Finland. Jan. 16, 1933, No. 1449. Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, July 17, 1933]. [Class 7 (iii).] A slide valve 4 has apertures 5, 6, 7 which can be moved into and out of coincidence with fuel admission ports so that a carburetter can be supplied with an easily ignitable fuel, a fuel which ignites with difficulty or a mixture of these fuels. The slide valve is controlled conjointly with the engine throttle valve or by a piston 2 or diaphragm which is subjected through a pipe 3 to the suction in the inlet manifold..
