Abstract
431,466. Vaporizers. EHRENSPECK, W., 8A, Luisenstrasse, and WURSTER, F., 11, Kreuzstrasse, both in Ludwigshafen-on- Rhine, Germany. Oct. 6, 1933, No. 27593. Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, April 7, 1934]. [Class 7 (iii)] Heavy fuel oil is heated in a jacket i surrounding an exhaust chamber b and passes through valve-controlled passages l, n, and a helically-coiled pipe o to an exhaust-heated dome g, whence its vapour passes a valve e to join the air supply entering past a valve t and the mixture flows through passages a to the cylinders. The valves e, t are mechanically coupled together, the valve t being the throttle valve of a petrol carburetter d, used at starting, the petrol supply being subsequently cut off.
