[Class 7 (iii).] A throttle 9 for light-fuel combustible mixture from a carburetter 4 is controlled by a pedal or lever 12 independently of a throttle 10 for heavy fuel combustible mixture which is operated by a pedal or lever 11. Before air from an inlet 6 mixes with the heavy fuel, the fuel is vaporized by passage through sinuous tubes 29, Fig. 3, connecting tubes 27, 28. These tubes have inlet and outlet pipes 25, 26 and form therewith a unit which is interchangeably disposed in a two part casing 21 provided with flanges for connection in the exhaust pipe 2. The tubes may be replaced by vertical passages in a block having horizontal passages, interposed between the vertical passages, for the exhaust gases, or the vertical passages may be formed in vertical plates spaced a short distance apart from one another.
