Abstract

419,806. Vaporizers. KULAK, K., and KULAK, W., 32, Szkaplerna Strasse, Wilno, Poland. Feb. 16,1933, No. 4839. Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Aug. 17, 1933]. [Class 7 (iii).] Heavy oils, such as those obtained by the dry distillation of naptha or coal, are fed from a tank 1, in which the fuel is maintained under pressure, through a pipe 4 into a coil 5 in the exhaust pipe 14, through maze-like conduits 61 of reduced cross-section in a plate 6, past a valve 7, operatively connected to an airadmission valve 16, into a further coil 10 in the exhaust pipe. The fuel is gasefied in the coils, which are oscillated by the exhaust gases, and the gasefied fuel flows through a pipe 17, surrounded by a branch 11 of the exhaust pipe 14, to a nozzle 13 in the induction pipe 15, or to nozzles 13, 131 arranged on either side of the throttle. The gasefied fuel is controlled either by a valve 12 in the pipe 17, or by a valve at the nozzle 13, which is connected to an unbalanced throttle valve in the pipe 15. The flow of exhaust gases through the pipe 14 is regulated by a valve 22 operated by hand or with the valve 16.
