Cylinders receiving liquid fuel. - Fuel from a pump is delivered to a reservoir (not shown) which communicates with a fuel injection device g, through a passage terminating in an annular recess h controlled by a valve b actuated by a lever j which also operates the outlet valve c. The fuel, without settling in the atomizer n, is blown through it by air supplied through the pipe e<1> and passages l in the valve b. Air is supplied by the pipe e to the top of the fuel reservoir.
