Vacuum apparatus.-Fuel is supplied to a carburettor by a gear-wheel pump b from an intermediate chamber c, which is fed from a reservoir under low pressure. The flow from the reservoir to the chamber c is controlled by a float f, which opens or closes a valve in a pipe d connecting the chamber to the induction pipe.
