Oct. 26, 1933, No. 29743. Convention date, Oct. 26, 1932. [Class 40 (v).] The residual coupling between the anode and grid circuits of a screen-grid amplifier used for ultra high-frequency working is counterbalanced, to prevent undesirable reaction, by providing an adjustable reactance, such as the condenser 12, between one end of the screening grid 4 and earth or cathode. The other end of the screening-grid is connected (a) to a source of high tension and (b) to the cathode through a condenser 11. The input circuit is shown at 7 and the output circuit at 8.
