227,364. Rodo Patents, Ltd., and Sloot, F. A. L. June 27, 1924. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Thermionic amplifiers and detectors; undesired signals, eliminating or limiting.-Receiving apparatus of the type described in Specification 226,417 is provided with a tuned circuit h, i between the earth lead e and the negative end of the cathode of the high frequency amplifying valve. The inductance h may be inductively coupled to the tuning inductance a. The rectifying valve is connected across the tuned circuit h, i, as shown through the usual grid condenser j. The Provisional Specification states that the negative end of the cathode in the rectifying valve and the variable grid resistance are connected directly to earth.
