Abstract
536,616. Valve amplifying circuit. AMALGAMATED WIRELESS (AUSTRALASIA) Ltd. Nov. 15, 1939, No. 30157. Convention date, Nov. 15, 1938. [Class 40 (v)] In multiple output thermionic amplifiers negative feedback potentials are derived from a load impedance in the screen-grid circuit of a multi-grid valve in at least one of the stages. The Fig. shows an arrangement having two output stages, 5, 5a with a common impedance 7 in the screen-grid circuit from which feedback is taken to the input circuit. The load circuit may be frequency dependent, condensers 9, 11 determining the low frequency feedback while frequency dependent components may be connected in the feedback path, combination 12, 13 determining the feedback at high frequencies. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 also describes a single stage amplifier with negative feedback from the screen-grid circuit. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
